  1. So, why do you care?! It's weird to act like ppl can't do what they want... public, private, home... whatever. It shouldn't matter to one individual. So, "cool."
  2. And those 2 galoofs wouldn't know what's what... particularly the guy who acts as though he's Kevin Kugler "lite" since those 2 know each other so well. Both have been insufferable Cubbies. lol.
  3. It's amazing how public school defender assumes that Neal Hawks must be a wacko for living out his beliefs. Why is that so threatening -- I personally don't give a rip if the guy wants to home school or private school or whatever school, who really cares how the guy wants to live his own life?! <Rant over.>
  4. Okay, I'll argue.... lol. If you look at Hoiberg's 5 years, it's basically 7 dudes who dominate the minutes. Add in walk-on Sammy Hoiberg and it's 8. So, technicalities abound, I was referring to dudes on scholarship, and the minute disparity actually drops off after 6. Eli Rice could have been involved in the numbers crunch but he only competed in 17 games before bolting... it's an interesting research project, if anyone wants to check out the +/- for each of these 8 dudes, who all deserved P.T., as that's where the rubber meets the road for dudes on the court to see how they all fit together. I, too, hope for 10 dudes next season, but it hasn't happened yet under Hoi-ball, but it would be a welcome sight! GBR Always. Minute (avg. played per game) distribution: Brice Williams 1010 / 34 = 29.7 min/gm Rienk Mast 951 / 32 = 29.7 Juwan Gary = 757 / 28 = 27.0 Keisei Tominaga 856 / 32 = 26.8 Josiah Allick 785 / 33 = 23.8 Jamarques Lawrence 798 / 34 = 23.5 *Sam Hoiberg 669 / 34 = 19.7 CJ Wilcher 591 / 33 = 17.9 {The rest of the roster 471 / 34 = 13.8}
  5. I think it took somebody's telling him to shit-can Matty Abdelmassih, but yeah, let's keep on keepin' on, 2023 & 2024 have been good thus far as hoops action played in those calendar years. GBR Always.
  6. How many players are on the court at once... 5. How many are in Freddy's rotation by season's end.... 7. So, it boils down to who can NU get that fills those 7 spots BEST!
  7. Grace & Burt as well as Cale Jacobsen did what they had to do, same can said for schollie 6th-yr-dude Boogie, they all prepared the big boys for what they had to face. They did their roles well enough. No complaints. Now, Ulis is another story... I hope you're dead wrong on Ahron. I imagine him being a key cog in 2024-25. I hope he didn't bet (under anybody's name, lol) -- and he is ready, willing, and able to take on a B1G role next season. I think he'll prove to be as good as his older bro, who carved out a smaller niche in the NBA. GBR Always.
  8. And it was, and it seeemed to be mostly the BEST rollercoaster, tbh.
  9. Yes, always yes. Wooden's my hoops coaching icon!! A true LEGEND!! I may have his last personally-noted & autographed biography when he signed it at 99!!
  10. JESUS himself would be the only "perfect fit" at UK.... walks on water, championship mentality. Sacrifices for the masses.
  11. Same feeling I had last April.... called 10-1 and 11-9 ahead of the year. Not too shabby. Well, I also called for a Keisei statue with Freddy & Sammy, but maybe that one's delayed. 2025 is OUR year! I can feel it!! Can you feel it?
  12. Dre Davis made the game-winning for Seton Hall in the N.I.T. championship game at Hinkle Fieldhouse over home state fav Indiana State and Larry Nerd. The Hall scored the final 9 to win it by two, 79-77! I immediately recall D.D. was a Miles' signee, oh what could have been--he's a nice playa! Second 'shot' for NU at snagging D.D.?!?
  13. Those KU announcers were horrible, I had to miss part of the broadcast to deal with a stranded vehicle and its occupant. lol.
  14. Better get over this one quickly, Rutgers will be out for blood. Nebraska better bring the fight to the Scarlet Knights. GBR Always.
  15. I think JP played for 5-6 teams...
  16. Oh, I agree with that supposition.... can't stand McDumass.
  17. Who links that shit on here.... srsly?
  18. Except Justin Patton is the opposite of your argument, so that didn't even make any sense...yes, he redshirted but only played 1 yr. He got paid as the 16th NBA selection, then bounced from team to team with nary a threat at NBA PT. It was a career ruined, but yeah, he got money by being a 1st rd. pick...
  19. Oh yeah, bring us a Larry Nerd all day, baby!!!!
  20. I guess I hadn't paid enough attention... I think Trey can probably play in the NBA eventually, he may not want to toil in the G-League... so maybe they'll be better with those "2 back" than otherwise thought.
  21. Trey & Kalk wouldn't be back, would they? I think CU is in a spot where they could re-load or they could be really bad...
  22. Yep, Clingan is their MVP. He has been such a dominant force on the defensive end, in particular.
  23. UConn was inevitable, they've been the most dominant program in 2023-24. Their major blip occurred on Febr. 20, 2024, in downtown Omaha... not much went wrong for them after that, tbh. The Huskies deserved it, they were the best, not unlike the women's finale as the most dominant player/personality in the game both lost since the other squad was the BEST TEAM.
