  1. Same, actually, I'd clearly have Brice 1st, but yeah, it's the same order.
  2. Didn't he just do this last year? It's not full-fledged free agency.... is that correct?
  3. I knew there was a younger brother, forgot his name... didn't know his legal troubles. So, why did Patrick leave?!?!
  4. He was doing fine until he was hurt, yes, for sure. Competition level also didn't help, esp. since he was hurt....
  5. Love Matar Diop's hidden potential... I felt that way about Oleg Kojenets, too. Maybe it's for the best, for both parties... they can find themselves at a non-Big Ten school.
  6. Oh ,wow, I hadn't heard about Jack & his troubles.... yikes, indeed.
  7. Now these NBA players have "load management," LEW didn't know what the word meant. He was a Huskeraholic, evidently. #BeastMode
  8. Man, that one sucked pretty bad to turn him down only to see K-St. go far in the Big Dance. Sheesh Louise!
  9. When watching the team leave the Sheraton for FedEx Forum, it was RLJ and Ulis who left out the side to avoid the crowds. They both did have a huge smile on their faces. I hope Ulis remains, but I kind of feel like the writing is on the wall.
  10. After that 34-pt. game against tOSU, Mast hovered above 35% on his threes, he only dipped beneath that at the very end of the season when he wore down some... he's gotta be up there in the Big Ten as far as overall efficiency when considering his 2FG% was 48.2%, 3FG% was 34.4%, and FT% was 84.4%. A very unique skill-set for Nebrasketball, yet seems to be the norm in the NBA now. The fact that NU had 9 dudes between 30.6% and 39.4% on threes is kind of an incredible stat. And C.J. Wilcher was above 50% on threes for a decent portion of the season, he seemed to struggle a bit when teams locked him up in the latter part of the year. Still had 45-39-94 splits, which is darn good in college basketball.. If those three numbers added up to 200, that's basically an elite shooter & Wilcher finished just shy of that at 178, although only shooting 33 FTs makes his 94% seem better than if had performed at volume. Overall, really good year for C.J. as a 6th man, wish he had been able to finish out 2024 like the 1st two-thirds of the season. GBR Always.
  11. If NU had made a deeper run in either the BTT or MM, Keisei could have been 3rd with only 8 more threes.... the difference between 8th and 3rd is *NINE*! Wow, that is certainly interesting to see it bunched up that much over 30+ years.
  12. When the team was leaving the Sheraton for FedEx Forum, all of the guys who have left were not featured, at all. They staggered the roster leaving so they could legitimately film for a documentary or somethin'.... it was very noticeable that all of the 4 players who are in the portal were in no way, shape, or form to be shown on the "tape." It was glaring that guys like Eli & even C.J. were not with the rest of the rotation pieces on the walk outta the hotel. I didn't want to make much of it at the time, because we had a game to play, but I did note the disparity for future reference. Nothing changes based on that, it's just interesting to note...
  13. Wilcher, you were usually good for a few great nights and some really good nights. Your free-throw shooting in 2023-24 was elite, Steph Curryesque. In fact, Nebrasketball had 4 dudes who shot lights out from the stripe: C.J. Wilcher 31 for 33 = 93.9% Keisei Tominaga 70 for 80 = 87.5% Brice Williams 119 for 141 = 84.4% Rienk Mast 57 for 68 = 83.8% And, as a team, NU made 500 (of 658) = 76.0% Same consideration for 3FG%, a bunch of guys did fairly well overall: C.J. Wilcher 50 for 127 = 39.4% Brice Willliams 50 for 129 = 38.8% Keisei Tominaga 76 for 202 = 37.6% Eli Rice (1/2) 10 for 27 = 37.0% Josiah Allick 8 for 22 = 36.4% Jamarques Lawrence 36 for 101 = 35.6% -- incl. finishing the season 16 for 26 = 61.5% (and he also improved his overall FG% to 42.0% after hovering in mid-30s.) Rienk Mast 42 for 122 = 34.4% Sam Hoiberg 15 for 49 = 30.61% Juwan Gary 26 for 85 = 30.59%
  14. We'd have to figure out which teams were in the JUCO championship bracket.... I'd imagine that could be gleaned on-line. I'm very curious as well. JUCO's are so hit or (mostly) miss, but yeah, KEISEI TOMINAGA comes to mind. Hmmm.
  15. Agreed, not every dude needs to be Brice, we also need an Allick and a Boogie, too. One of my fav NU dudes was Evan Taylor for Tim Miles' squad. That's the kind of player who helps immensely to fill in any gaps on the roster. ET was a dude in his *own* right! GBR Always.
  16. J-Law quickly vaulted up my list with how genuine he greeted my bro and I after such a painful defeat in Memphis. He was so kind and gracious with his time (while his own 'bro' waited...) that I leaned in for a hug. He wished us well on our journey home. Wow, that's an impressive young man. He could have been surly and sulked, he chose to be a great human being. And that means a lot to a big NU fan, I'll sing his praises as long as I live. That's a good dude, J-Law. GBR Always.
  17. It's with good reason, having a dude who can drive and dish like Perkins would be amazing. He sliced and diced NU at Iowa when there were only 2k fans who witnessed his dissection.
  18. That's basically my same thought process. We'll always have that magnificent comeback this season against UW (well, it happened the prior yr. too) but this past season CJ literally willed the team to victory with elite shot-making in that 2nd half. Thing of beauty against those pesky Badgers. GBR Always.
  19. Ehh, I'm not concerned, at all. Now if any others of the Jr./Sr. class were to leave, then, well, I'd become concerned rather quickly.
