  1. "I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious" - Michael Scott, Dunder-Mifflin
  2. After reading, either that board lacks basketball knowledge or they flat out know little about Husker hoops. They don't know Keisei's first or last name, and they said we lack an inside presence (checks notes...REINK MAST). I hope their team is as clueless as those fans .
  3. Are all remaining away games Q1/Q2?
  4. Shannon hurt his hand. Maybe stop holding Keisei and your hand won't get caught in his jersey
  5. Looking at the B1G standings and today's games, the top 4 teams are doing battle. How often can we say we're a part of that discussion in February?! Big opportunity today!
  6. How soon until we swap JLaw for Sam? I think it'd be good for both guys. Sam brings great energy and hits timely shots. JLaw might be able to pick some spots after seeing the game from a different angle early on.
  7. Peeking at the B1G standing added to my frustration. We are two awful road game halves from being in 2nd place with the tiebreaker over Purdue. Sometimes I think why do I care so much just to see my fanatic heart ripped out every season. On the flip side, if I stop watching and caring, we probably become a blue blood, and I would suffer the misery of not getting to enjoy their success. Just a lose-lose it feels like sometimes. I'm guessing that others feel the same! The life of a Husker Hoops fan.
  8. Agreed! There is tons of good content on Peacock, and $6 is dirt cheap for a streaming service. I don't get all the negativity. The broadcasts and video quality are nice as well!
  9. Just like after CU/Minnesota games, this team rebounded like goddamn champs! We flushed that defensive effort from Saturday and were the more physical team from the jump! This should be a fun ride, GBR!!
  10. Not saying they weren't elite shooters, but each team now tends to have several elite shooters. I grew up on 90s basketball, so I'm not ignorant to great players from past eras!
  11. Not to mean this disrespectfully, but I think the whole "the game is less physical" argument gets overblown. Much like when I hear people complain about no defense being played in the NBA while ignoring the unbelievable skill set and shooting abilities of today's NBA players compared to the 80s/90s.
  12. In 20 years, he'll be pissing guys off playing rec ball somewhere with those same moves and ups! Old man game for sure!
  13. Today's game was another example that Sam needs to play, and he should play big-time minutes. He just does so many little things right. He is the ultimate glue guy. This team is showing flashes of continuing what last year's crew started! 11-2 hopefully before Indiana rolls into town in a couple weeks!
  14. 1. Murderers / Pedophiles 2. Drug dealers 3. College referees
  15. Great, and a much needed, win for the boys! I'm OK with FH riding with Eli for the rest of the season over Boogie.
  16. My question is: Did we break Fred Hoiberg or was that the NBA? We get a coach who anyone on this board would have been ecstatic about 7-8 years ago, and somehow he has been an historical trainwreck. I think we'd have the same luck with a resurrected Dean Smith, Roy Williams, Coach K, etc.
  17. Reminds me of (and I hate that I'm using a football analogy, so apologies upfront) Frost thinking his Oregon/UCF stuff would work in the B1G. Fred finally finds success with a slower, methodical offense and tough D last season. Now, we're back to running and gunning, and it ain't gonna work most likely.
  18. I remember in Doc's last season, we were the oldest team in the B1G........
  19. To throw my $0.02 on the Keisei thing, I love the kid, as we all do. However, I also love LeBron, and I HATE that he complains so often (as does almost the entire NBA) when something goes against him. Just get back and play defense, offense, whatever.
