This is the kid that provided the Huskers with a verbal commitment and then changed his mind and signed with Texas...perhaps he didn't leave us, instead we may have bypassed him! His dad is the head basketball coach at DePaul (I believe). Reese Leitao, a Texas Longhorns football recruit, was arrested at his high school on Tuesday for drug possession and intent to sell. FOX 23 in Tulsa says Leitao had 20 Xanax pills and $1,300 on him when he was arrested. The campus police report reportedly says he admitted to a school official that he intended to sell the pills. Leitao, who attends Jenks High School in Oklahoma, was booked into Tulsa county jail.

I am unsure why this is on Creighton per se. This is a young man, who if guilty, made an egregious mistake, one that he will pay severely for, and one that a young lady will be emotionally and perhaps physically scarred. The University did not do this. If they did try to hide something, and it becomes factual, then I will jump on the bash Creighton bandwagon. That is what Baylor did, and their program seems to be paying the consequence of their actions.. But again, at this point, nothing is proven and my distain will need to wait until allegations becomes fact.

Just another thought...the way they played last night, do you not believe that Michigan State thought that our game was the biggest game of the year?

It is the next game on the schedule, so yes, it automatically becomes the most important game on the schedule

Yup, it isn't I do very often, but right now is a good time for a bit of Bailey's and decaf.

We ran into a perfect storm tonight. MSU played hard and played well. We played hard but struggled hitting our shots. We move on with the attitude that Illinois becomes the biggest game of our season.

73 degrees in Baltimore. That is where I am sitting. Crab cakes are pretty darn good as well.
