I think we need to get a bit more athletic as a team. Problem is a team like A&M won’t do all that well in the Big 10. fuck they weren’t even that good in the SEC this year. they are just a liquid hot team that is feeding off the energy they are producing.

The two things that make me sad about our game (at the half) is that the nation and causal fans will think that we are still a looser program. Might be right but only see this and don’t know how good this team really is and was. the other thing that is going to happen which will really make me sick is that A&M won’t be able to come close to making a basket against Houston and that to me will hurt more knowing that it was one bad game in a great season. now let’s try to win this thing. It will be tough but think something might happen that will make this year special.

Two things about tonight 1) I will always remember this team for how hard they played and how together they were. It has been a joy to cheer on this guys who came to my team from all over and wanted to be here to play for us. 2) never too low, never too high oh, and I might cry tonight

That is why it just might work and it would make 5he regular season more important as you would be playing for home field advantage to play the last two games of the year to get into the big dance. no more snubs or teams on the bubble. Win and you’re in. Also last team to win it all would be only team to win their last game of each year.

Seed all D1 teams into pods of 4 teams. Top team in each pod is host team two games and I think after one week you would have the top 64 teams. If an odd number give bye or byes to top team.. Reseed teams after that week. Also get rid of post season conference tournaments. Most are poorly attended this would truly allow for some Cinderella to be found

Don’t really remember the first game. Was maybe 4-5 years old in 1964/1965. Do remember standing in line at the Coliseum to get tickets, the bright court and dark stands. An opposing coach said it was like playing in a bowling alley. The popcorn machine in the one corner. The concession where under the bleachers and they put plastic wrap with a rubber band over your drink cup so noting fell into your drink. Then having the Bob open and it was WOW. We got something here. Sitting on the plank seats and getting my first season tickets in 1988. Enjoying the 90’s taking my sons. Then they opened the Taj Mahal with the Vault. Now having 6 season tickets. And still taking middle son to every game. Have gone to at least 1 home game a year since 1964. Only have missed maybe 5-8 home games since 1988. it is just what I do and my sons do. 🩷

I want to thank my mom who took me to my first game in 1965. The only thing that scares me is the Huskers winning a game, because watching them win an NCAA game is the second to last thing on my bucket list…

I hope we make a bowl game this year… but really don’t want to play A&M

Don’t let this game beat us next week though. Wonder if there is some family in Kansas that wonders how Shannon is still playing basketball?

Wished we could of played these guys in Lincoln this year.

Our legs are gone on our jump shots. Still love our team and we will be better by next week. well Wisconsin should run these guys out of the gym tomorrow, we got that going for us.
