It was a very well pitched game except for about 4 pitches. We had based loaded twice with only one out and don't score, that tells how this game was for us. I think that ball that kid from Fullerton is still going, good lord he got all of it.

and lose this game. Baseball is such a game of inches. 3 inches to the left and that second grounder is a ground ball out to third, but it hits the bag and we goat crap going here. Also would like to see us swing the bat a bit better.

My son has a very good friend from Brazil and was going to go live with him and his family and go to some games. He got a job and has a wedding so he can't go, his mom and I are happy about that. Wasn't sure I wanted him down there, but you know you need to let them go up some time.

Hailie averaged around 16 pts a game in high school so she can score, at least I would think she can. Best part about the Lady Huskers is that with all the running and ball pressure we play these girls will get a chance if they who they can play some defense. This could also help us later in the year because more playing time for more players means fresher legs in the later part of the year. I think we have been leg tired the last few years when it came to tournament time.

Hope he does get home though for some me time. Everybody needs to go home and eat mom's cooking, sleep in your own bed and hang with the boys. Tell them all the stories about Nebraska. Nit a long stay, just a battery recharging one. Then come back ready to compete.

I am not a pro eater but... I am an all day eater so I eat a lot but not that fast, now in my youth.

Bummer with a 7 inning gem. Getting great pitching from the staff, well I guess Sinclair struggled but other than that this is how you win tournaments. Also some timely hitting. Now just stop kicking the ball around and we will be raising a torphy Sunday. If we win the whole thing, and we some how jump a couple of places in the polls can we get a top 16 seed? We are 20 and 23 in a couple of them so anything could happen couldn't it.

And as someone else said, he can leave after a year or two and we would be not any worse for the wear. I can't believe that I just wrote that. I hate when we throw kids away because they don't fit. And I don't just mean Nebraska, I mean all of college sports. There are good reasons to ask a player to leave, but to just "help" players to leave because somebody else has come along and they are nor needed any more isn't right to me. Can't believe I even thought that. Must be reading about UNLV too much.

We will have 3 that graduate next year. If Tarren has another great year we will have 4 spots open. Jamall wouldn't hurt us that bad on numbers and fills a need we will need the following year anyway. I also don't see him as that big of a stretch. Fro years UNLV was seen as a renagade type program. Transfers, jucos, castoffs, etc.. made upmthe roster. If you had gotten into trouble Tark would take you and win. I think that is kind of coming back.

Might be a good red shirt type of guy. Sounds like he currently working on his game, 500 jump shots a day sometimes more. And he seems to be a hard worker. Don't really see a down side being he is still around this late in the game.
