To answer your question in the real world since I don't play the game, Dave, I will choose door #1. When I peruse the obits each morning, I realize that my own chance to see us join the list of teams to win an NCAA game is rapidly diminishing. I've now seen the Chiefs, the Red Sox, the Husker football team, and the Jayhawks win multiple championships and my final sporting ticket that needs punched is the illusive NCAA win before the conductor asks for mine. And I'm not even asking to win the whole damn thing (although it would be a nice bonus).

I haven't noted any deliberate distribution problems myself and don't see any point in bringing it up. I really doubt any of the players are thinking that about not throwing the ball to player X,Y,or Z, since hitting an open player should be an instinctive move when the opportunity arises.

Jimmy's simplistic take: I don't pay much attention to all the NET,SOS,SOR crap, since I don't understand the metrics. We have 5 games left and we have a decided advantage at home this year, so I'll assume two victories unless we toad up. If we win one of the away games, we are probably in and if we win two of them, we are definitely in with a higher seed. The league tourney gives us a chance to pick up some "gravy" games as well. Better yet, let's just win them all and trash this thread.
