  1. Ok, serious question here..... I don't want to rain on the vote for Jacob parade, but does it concern anyone at all that he has gone to 4 different high schools, and also has decommitted from Oklahoma? Not that it's horrible it just throws up a red flag to me.
  2. Who actually posts their stat line after a loss? I'm sorry but I am not a fan of Pitchford. I completely agree Vault. Then why post your stats? When I first read it, it just rubbed me the wrong way. If the wins all that matters say we didn't get it done tonight, still working to get better or something. I don't like the humble brag.
  3. I agree with a lot of your points Norm, I think Rivers needs to be playing, he is a glue guy and busts his ass off on the floor. There has to be something going on as to why he isn't playing, and if not, shame on Miles. I personally would have liked to see Hawkins Redshirt but I understand if the player doesn't want to RS you can't make him because the fear of the player transferring. (don't know if that was the case with Hawkins at all) In regards of Biggs starting... that is on him not Miles. If he would get his stuff together he would be starting, he is definitely playing better right now than Webster, but he is to inconsistent and is having some off the court issues.
  4. I meant it as an identity for the whole season not just the game. I agree with you Petteway played probably his best game of the year, I'm not going to argue with you on that point. I agree with you completely about Petteway for the game against The Citadel. I also never said he was "such a detriment to the team" I'm just saying that's what our identity looks like on offense for the season. He's a good scorer but we can not be a one trick pony on offense all season. The Citadel shot 50% from the field, that is not a solid effort on defense. They were getting easy shots, and driving to the basket. College players can knock down shots if they are not contested. A lot of the shots were uncontested. Remember this was a 4 win team, 2 of their wins were against non-division 1 opponents. They were only down 5 with 4 minutes to play, and then Van Scyock fouled out and we made a couple plays and the writing was on the wall for them. They ran out of gas with a short bench and they quit making shots it wasn't because of our "solid defense"
  5. I don't know about that, Colorado has already played Oklahoma St. and Kansas this year. But maybe there is that much bad blood between NU and CU.
  6. To be honest I don't like that attitude at all. I don't think you can encourage 18-23 year old guys to look ahead or past teams. I could be way off here too, and maybe I'm just a negative thinker but it rubs me the wrong way that Miles can make jokes after we lose games. I'm not saying it's right or wrong or that it's a big deal, it just rubs me the wrong way. I guess it's because I go into a little depression every time we lose.
  7. I was very frustrated with this game. We should have lost, The Citadel just ran out of guys. We didn't have the game in hand until the 4 minute mark and The Citadel knew they didn't have another run in them and gave up. We were completely out coached this game. What is the identity of this team???? We don't defend.. and what is our goal on offense besides letting Petteway chuck up any shot he wants?
  8. This Oklahoma-Duke WBB game needs to get over with. I'm growing impatient!
