Smith’s minutes were limited due to his bum knees, McCray was wildly mediocre & Kavas was flat out BAD. Those guards could shoot it some, but any comparison to this year’s squad is a reach…
I’m sure this will come as a let down to those who were hoping to see Fred fired by the weekend or those who take a perverse sense of delight seeing the program roasted on the Spit yet again…
I’ll take your word for it, I was a long time resident who still listens to KFAN everyday & talks with my hoop friends up there on a regular basis. It’s nice to see him & the program off to a good start…
We’ve all seen our share of Cornhusker teams that weren’t very good. But you usually had the sense when they pulled on that Red & White jersey it “meant” something because it certainly means a lot to people associated with this University & State. I’m through speculating what ails them, but 8 more weeks like the one we just had is hard to wrap my head around.
