  1. We beat Duquesne this year. Just saying.
  2. Boise State is now 0-10 in the NCAA tournament.
  3. Nebraska National rank: FG% Defense: #10 (39.655%) FT%: #46 (75.39%) Rebounds (Defensive) per Game: #15 (28.27) 3PA per Game: #26 (26.4) 3PM per Game: #24 (9.5) Winning %: #46 (69.7) Texas A&M National Rank: FTA per Game: #10 (24.3) FTM per Game: #18 (17.2) Rebound Margin: #7 (8) Rebound (Offensive) per Game: #1 (17.26) Rebounds per Game: #1 (42.71) Turnovers per Game: #17 (9.6) Texas A&M gets points at the line and rebounds their missed shots. Nebraska wins the boards, keeps Texas A&M off the line, and wins the FG% battle. We win.
  4. The anticipation is nearing its peak. We're counting down the hours at this point for when we get our first elusive NCAA tournament win. We have a good team. We know we have a good team. Good vibes only.
  5. Needs a Keisei autograph after the first NCAA tournament win in school history.
  6. Did he just now realize there no mountains to climb in Nebraska?
  7. Resume? It's just a piece of paper that his this link listed: https://huskerhoopscentral.com/profile/121-norm-peterson/
  8. Oh, frick! And I'd have done it for less money. If Husker Hoops Central wasn't listed on your resume, I would have been disappointed.
  9. The grand debate: Boise State is somewhere around 0-9 in the NCAA tournament. But they've qualified for Dayton and have a chance tonight against Colorado to get a win. Does it "count" if they win?
  10. Seems to be why they got exiled to Dayton.
  11. I guess I'm not following. I was just stating that we've actually given our coaches the support they need to succeed here. That's exactly getting behind Fred 100%.
  12. Well said. Mine was more of a statement of "well things may be different now". And interesting that it comes during a time we don't have a permanent AD.
  13. His contract was extended through the 28-29 season. Maybe I'm misremembering the timeline, but this wasn't the same fortune of a prior coach who didn't get much support from the AD.
  14. Something something not extending contracts which signal indecision and hesitancy in recruits and handcuffing what the coach can do with the lack of that public support.
  15. That is mostly because he works for ESPN. If they put an actual guy who really knows the system all over their platforms they would get just a many or more clicks. Just makes me think of their move to cut costs; replacing Bear on College Game Day and replacing him with [insert generic college football guy with no personality here]. It became a worse product, but the same result in viewership for ESPN.
  16. Lunardi is excellent at his job. He's not hired to be the most accurate, he's hired to get the most clicks. And everyone falls for it. ESPN wins.
  17. Damn when was the last time we played on CBS? I feel bad for not knowing this. It wasn't when KU hit the last second shot with Ballard back in the day was it? There you have it: https://youtu.be/vlKyqIIiTS4?si=3VbBGzOoxaFRb2lp
  18. You also want to make the regular season meaningful. If too many teams qualify, then you're no better than a watered down NBA regular season that has to start creating in-season tournaments just to keep people interested.
  19. I sure hope it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Nebraska has had this experience 7 other times. You can only win your first NCAA tournament game once.
  20. Promotion/Relegation. Final four teams in the NIT get promoted into the NCAA tournament next season. The bottom four teams in the NCAA tournament get relegated to the NIT the next season
  21. Here's a link that might be useful for some: https://grizzlies.io-media.com/mobile/index.html#/
  22. Too young to become a Shim Sham.
