  1. Oh, I agree, I think there are a couple of guys at UNO that would contribute. I don't know that they push NU over the hump, though.
  2. Pardon's gonna be an all Big Ten player, perhaps as early as next year. Morrow was hurt when he played 'em this year and missed two of the games with injury vs. Northwestern. We haven't really seen Morrow vs. Pardon yet.
  3. Didn't say he couldn't play. Said I think Morrow is better.
  4. I would be curious to see how well Daum could defend at this level. He got eaten alive vs. Maryland last year, will be curious to see how well he does in that regard this year. They'll get another shot at a very high seeded team.
  5. Morrow would eat Thurman's lunch. Haun might be just as good as Fuller, but you're underrating McVeigh. He's be the 10th man on the bench at best. Fuller's turned into a pretty decent defender in short spurts. Not sure Haun could do that.
  6. I think he can too. But so far, his stats are proving me wrong...
  7. I'm hoping he kills it at SDSU next year, NBA scouts suggest he showcases his game vs. higher competition and he comes to Lincoln as a grad transfer for his senior year.
  8. Daum didn't show anything that suggested he'd be what he's become. Credit to him. He took advantage of his redshirt year and became a great player.
  9. Yep. We gotta start doing a better job of evaluating in-state talent.
  10. This has been a fun game.
  11. I think he would have too. Wish he'd have shown more of this ability when he was still in high school. Perhaps he would be.
  12. Doesn't really matter. Sussing it out won't really accomplish anything and I don't really want to inadvertently tagging a player with that ignominy.
  13. My first guess wasn't a freshman, FWIW. I don't have an answer for who it was though.
  14. I don't think the Shatel article had much impact. He's not around the team, I doubt many of the players even know who he is. Lee, on the other hand, they all know. He's got a powerful voice when it comes to NU hoops, for better or worse. He's around the team all the time. I could very much see that article playing to the subconscious of the team.
  15. We're all dying. It's gonna happen to all of us.
  16. NU's rates of transfer are comparable with the rest of NCAA rates. Transfers are part of the deal.
  17. That opens up some more intriguing matchups, though. Right now we'd almost certainly have been looking at a game with Wake or Clemson again. We still might, but if they reshuffle the deck, you could see Virginia Tech or NC State or something like that on the table.
  18. You always run that risk when you make a coaching change. Anecdotally, I don't think mass exoduses happen that often. I'm sure there will be some losses off the roster, but, as long as you don't protract a search, I don't think you'll see players abandoning ship. And Nana's signed a LOI. They might release him from it, but it's not a guarantee. There are a lot of things that *could* happen, including Miles returning.
  19. I'd really like to see that team take the court.
