Actually this was a request of mine so that I could put up any information I had without needing another thread. You ok?
I’m all good. Especially if it comes from those in charge.
It seems unnecessary. But as I said, I’m probably in the wrong. Carry on.

The game day thread goes back to the first days of Husker Hoops Central. What, 14, 16, 20 years ago? It was a big thing for away games, because everyone on this board had tickets in the BDSC. If I'm not mistaken, Huskercwg always started those threads. Home games,on the other hand, pretty quiet. I got the home game threads going only for those of us who weren't at the game. Never had more than two or three pages. Things have evolved. Back then, no one commented from the BDSC. We always waited for unebs post game comments.
Here's the deal: For those who want to bitch about timing of the posting of Gameday threads, get a life. I have it on good authority, you have many times beat your wide.
I don’t have an issue with the game thread. But a game thread days (sometimes a week) before the actual game is silly. Again, I am admitting I’m probably wrong in this opinion.
That said, I’m quite certain I’ve never heard of anyone (including myself; I’m not sure where you heard I may have) beating their “wide.” But John Lennon did admit to beating his first wife. That isn’t an opinion. I’m quite certain I’m not wrong in saying that.

I realize I will probably get lambasted for this, but why on earth do we start game threads days before game day?
I understand this is very much like my complaint about the trophy/thumbs up reputation on the board.
But shouldn’t the game thread be for the game itself, not the stupid shit four days before the game?
Again, I admit I’m more than likely in the wrong here. But I could start a game thread today about the game against Rutgers on Jan 17. Does that make any sense?
We have a future opponents thread. Before the game starts (i.e. the future), shouldn’t chat about those games go there?

I usually have utilized the 'thanks' to display my thanks for answering my question (whether asked or not), never even realized it was a trophy icon tbh.
I’ve always thought of the thumbs up as a “thanks” (as well as a “nice one”).
A trophy seems to be for something more, if that makes sense.

you win? Why the question?
Because in the United States the punctuation goes inside the quotation marks, even when it doesn’t make sense.
In England they put the punctuation outside the quotation marks, which makes more sense.

Not that it really matters, but what are the odds we can get the trophy reputation icon changed from "thanks" to "you win?"
I think a thumbs up works better for "thanks." A trophy is earned for something clever on a message board.
Anyone else with me on this?
Is changing this even possible?
Again, it doesn't really matter, but...

We played well enough to win; yet playing like that moving forward likely will end poorly.
I really like Jawan; but he has to learn that not all open 3's are good shots. Just saying.
Rebounding was bad. We gave up way to many offensive rebounds/2nd chance opportunities.
Keisei was perfect from the floor and the line. Yet, what the hell, get him the ball. He did not get enough shots today.
Playing well enough to win is all I want.
If we play well enough to win for the next three months or so, color me pink.

Yeah, idk if that's the takeaway here. I don't like the in arena b-n + complaining too much as it is. Course we can yell a bit, but the constant boos and stuff from past years doesn't help imo
I was being sarcastic.
I’m not one for bitching about the refs all that much.
It happens here a lot (as I suspect it does for every fan base across the country).

22-9.
If only complaining about the refs worked out this well all the time!

Solid run there!
Me likey!

18 fouls to 7.

They are grabbing and slapping every trip down the court. I still think our depth will help us prevail. The only worry I have is if this game remains close down the stretch, can we finish? We haven't been in a tight game, yet. This will really help us once we open up conference play.
15 fouls to 6.
This should not be our complaint.

That was what I was trying to think. If we have to create room, there's an obvious candidate that will likely be shown the door.
Do we really have to “create” room anymore? The kids do that for us. We’ll have at least two guys bounce, and we probably won’t have to encourage them to do so.
Such it is these days.

I remember him Coaching the ‘84 Olympic Team with Jordan & a little known player at the time, Charles Barkley.
Barkley was cut from that team.

Considering all of our guys out, I am taking no stock in the outcome of this practice.

A very underrated movie.
With a great song (that I don’t think ended up in the movie closing credits, did it?)!

Haha, we left about 10 min. into his set. Daughter had to get up early for school the next day, and you know, the main event was already over. GBR
Did anyone boo you for leaving early?

Sure, there are things to be excited about, but we dropped a winnable game against a beatable team. We don’t get a lot of those in a year. Colorado now becomes huge. Can’t start 0-2.
Yes, we can. I can assure you this is something we are entirely capable of.

Just watched Minnesota's TD, and the LT left early AND held on the same play.
That guy moved early on several plays.
