I watched him several times and thought he was a GREAT shooter, surprised he only shot 36.8% on 3s this year. WVU was offensively challenged, so maybe he was asked to do too much.

I wonder how we're going to run Fred's offense with so little offensive firepower. Forget all the "well, he could shoot xx% better this year" stuff and expecting major player development. Seriously, who of this crew gets the ball at the end of the shot clock? Griesel seems like the best bet at this point, only because of experience, because I'm not sure he's going to break down many Big Ten defenders. Wilcher's a good shooter, but he's not going break down anyone off the dribble either.

^^^^ This. We've been treated to such bad basketball that we don't even know what real basketball is. I can't imagine another program worrying about whether their players will play hard. Smart? Sure. Unselfishly? Absolutely. But hard? No. Players who don't play hard don't see the floor on a real high major team. Period.

Looking at Walker/Oleg/Keita and figuring at least one won't be here. So we'll be looking for a backup center.

If he didn't want to be here, then time to go, but I wish he'd stuck around. He probably would have provided more in Year 3 than some disgruntled transfer will in Year 1.

So all of the big coaching jobs are filled now, right? Man, that was fast!
