If I had to take a stab at it...I would say Clemson. But, I'm not sure they really base the matchups on how a particular team did the year before. JMO

Predicted to finish 8th out of 10 teams in the WCC. We need to win atleast 3 games this weekend. BYU is not a good ball team.

Assuming we don't sign anyone else for next year...I would say first off the bench to replace Pitchford. Right now I would put him over Hammond only because Hammond still needs to add some LB's and strength.

Getting back to the original topic, I have a question: If Creighton has more talent, let's say we could go over to their program and poach one underclassman from their roster to play on our team next season. Who do you poach, and where in our rotation would you put them? Starter? Sixth man? Key reserve? Where? Underclassman? I guess it would have to be Hanson by default. Seeing that we need any warm body with size...even though he has proven to be pretty mediocre thus far.

Tough loss if Hohensee is out for an extended period. IMO, I really though that he would eventually gain the #3 spot in our rotation. I like his stuff. We will need some young arms to step up.

I've written as much on Twitter all year. I think Creighton's more talented top to bottom, even if Nebraska has the two best players. I feel like Creighton should have a better record than it does. I feel like Tim Miles has done a pretty good coaching job this year given the injuries and the talent on hand. It's worth noting almost no one agrees with me on the talent issue and I'm one person with a thought. Creighton has more talent, but should have a better record than it does. And it should have a better record than it does, because it has more talent. Hmmmmm. The results certainly don't prove the premise. Maybe Creighton doesn't have a better record than it does because it really doesn't have superior talent? I'm not convinced that the Big East is really a better conference, either. What they have that's better is they have some better shooters. But, take away their walk-on, and they're going to look pretty pedestrian. Sam has an inflated opinion of Creighton. He told his twitter followers to watch out for Creighton because they were going to be a lot better than what people give them credit for. Only to watch them fall flat on their face this year. Sam also said this..."Creighton has a better-assembled, deeper team than Nebraska. If nothing else, Mac is a better "GM" than Miles over the last three years." Had a great laugh at that one. Tanner was in the 4 hole on Friday. I'm wondering if UNLV threw a lefty that night? Edrington I'm not sure on. He's someone who is solid in the field but struggles with the bat. We didn't commit a single error all weekend so that's a plus. Just need to warm up the bats and solidify the third starter.

UNLV should be a solid team again. But I'm a little concerned with the makeup of our offense. On paper I'm not seeing much speed or power. I don't see Lubach working out in the 4 hole.

Should have stayed that better. I do expect Morrow to contribute. But, I'm not expecting him to be the difference maker we need in his first year. I'm hoping Miles can find a transfer or a Juco big. Heck...I'm hoping he finds two.

I like the guys we have coming in...and we should he improved because we are pretty bad this year. But the question will be how much improvement will we make? If we don't find a post presence or a PG doesn't step up then I'm not sure we will be a NCAA team. I have faith Smith will develop...but I don't expect Watson and Morrow to fill the roles right away.

Gave up 40 in the second hald...and outside of full court press what did we try to do differently? I understand Molonari would probably cry a river if we went zone but would it hurt to atleast try? Purdue was getting whatever they wanted down the court.

Only 5 games left. Then we can put this abysmal season behind us. Lackluster job all around this year.

Hopefully next year we have someone who drives the full court press and has a pulse on the offensive end.
