  1. The staff has known for a while that he wouldn’t be coming back
  2. I don't know about that. He really struggled toward the end of the season. May have been nudged.
  3. Renew them, Norm, but for god's sake please upgrade. We need you in the lower bowl.
  4. Appreciate the translation. Young ears are good. I could have played that back 50 times and not picked up what was said.
  5. Between basketball and the weather, I bailed. Some nice soul bought my tickets on seat geek for $3 a piece.
  6. Gary looked way off from the start. The one player who should have fit in with A & M’s athleticism. Worst game of his Nebraska career.
  7. We can do this. After the Rutgers home game, we rallied. Just do it again.
  8. No question we were bad tonight, got lucky. Hopefully we’ll play much better against OSU. We know we can.
  9. We need to be VERY active in the portal.
  10. I’m old, prolly will get to the finish line with this million pound gorilla still on our back.
  11. Hosting a small gathering including wife, brother, daughter and a couple of longtime season tickets holders. Regretting that I didn’t go to Memphis, but this will suffice. Waiting until tip-off to start drinking. Feel like I did before game 7 in 2015 when the Cubs were trying to break a 107 year drought. We’re gonna do it.
  12. Well, all I can say is I hope my secretary doesn't come in here right now and see what that video did.....
  13. Went to the park tonight, beautiful night for baseball. Left when we were up 8-0, so blame me that they cut it to 8-5.
  14. Just pathetic by Bluder. The Big 10 gave her team a double bye. The system she says is so horrible rewards a team's regular conference record at a high level--the bottom 4 seeds would have to play 5 days in a row. So just shut it, Bluder.
  15. Yes, that was one of my biggest memories from the Coliseum days. My dad said to look at the floor sweepers, and I thought it was awesome.
  16. Your memory is good, actually. It was dark up top, that was cigarette smoke, and their were vision obstructions galore. But that popcorn machine at the south entrance made it all better. As for the tall center, you are thinking of Ron Taylor. Initial returns were that he was a program-changer. But injuries kept him from reaching his potential. I believe he passed away a couple of years ago in his late 60s.
  17. My kids had those floor-mopping jobs years ago. Great times. Glad a least one person was watching them!
  18. Waiting for Maybe It Was Memphis by Pam Tillis.
  19. Have to be low because @Norm Peterson has 200 level.....
  20. Those are "strong words"?? Wow, the poster must lead a very sheltered life.
  21. Thanks for all of this work, Throwback; it is much appreciated.
  22. Mine was at the Coliseum also, but Jerry Fort was still in Junior High. 57 years ago in December. Still remember it. Tom Scantelbury was my hero.
  23. Fun game tonight. 17-0 run to end the first half was so sweet
