  1. Wow. More than 330,000 of the approximately 4500 Div. I scholarship players are transferring. That's insane!
  2. Carter is officially remaining in the 2021 class; he is not reclassifying to 2020.
  3. I would assume that Hoiberg will have spoken to every player by the end of this week, if he hasn't done so already. So, I would also assume that the players who were going transfer or are now transferring after speaking with Hoiberg will have entered the portal by the end of this week. That doesn't mean no further roster attrition will occur after this week. Perhaps someone is injured and is waiting until after surgery to transfer so they can still receive top-notch medical treatment (a la Jordy Tshimanga). Perhaps the filling of the last scholarship spot prompts a change of heart in someone else (a la Donovan Williams). Or maybe somebody thinks they can find a better situation elsewhere and wants to be a real jerk about it (a la Andrew White, III). So, while nothing is ever certain, I would suspect we'll know who isn't returning next year by week's end.
  4. He said he's focusing HIS attention on those schools; he said nothing about those school focusing any attention on him!
  5. I won't miss watching Burke get his shot blocked at the rim!

  7. I also found this interesting. They clearly have a strong relationship. I just hope her advice is what's best for all involved. And I don't often get what I hope for...
  8. One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of Cam Mack's actions over the last couple months have also not made much sense.
  9. We need a PG for next year. Cam Mack has tweeted a couple times in the past day offering support for the team, but I don't see him coming back. He's far too much of a distraction for a coach trying to build a program. It seems he challenges Hoiberg every step of the way. Would love to have Cross come back. And yeah, he will see reduced minutes next year, but so will everyone who returns! I'd like to see what Cross can do playing only 15 minutes per game, especially if he continues to work on his body. Both he and Yvan could benefit from adding strength and explosiveness. I'm in-line with the sentiments shared about Green. I also thought he was for sure going to be gone a few weeks ago, but he's certainly raised to the occasion. If he's willing to come back, I'd very much welcome that. Also agree that Yvan and Thor will for sure be back. I'm excited to see what our roster looks like in the next few months!
  10. My guy Kevin Cross had a great game tonight! I sure hope he comes back. He certainly played like he wants to be here.
  11. Like I said, he just looks worn out. Hell, we ALL are! I like his game and there is certainly a spot for him moving forward. Hope he sticks around.
  12. Cross handles the ball pretty well. If he continues to lean up, he could improve his quickness. He could be a 3/4, especially in a "positionless" system. I think there is 15 minutes per game available for him. And he may benefit from less minutes, especially if he picks up his defensive intensity.
  13. Why do so many people think Cross is leaving? I have seen nothing from him to indicate such a thing. I just see a freshman worn out by the long season. I think he'll be back.
  14. Vedral will enter the Indiana game with 5:36 remaining in first half.
  15. I think the "focus on my academics and prepare for graduation" very strongly insinuates he will be a graduate transfer next season. To me, his message (posted in the middle of the night) seems like damage control. I've been late to work before and while my boss didn't like it, I wasn't suspended a day without pay. Now, if I showed up late and was also drunk/high, I would expect there to be more severe consequences. I think Dachon has closed the door - and all the windows - on Nebraska Basketball.
  16. What was Jordy's fould per 40 minutes his freshmen year? If Yvan's is 9.4, I would guess Jordy's was around 12?
  17. Yes, most people on this board share the sentiment shared by Yvan and Haanif. But they posted on TWITTER. The rhetoric on Twitter is MUCH more negative than on this board. So, if you're missing anything, it's Twitter. And if you can, you should keep it that way!
  18. He was professional. And it's not like what he said is incorrect. I don't understand why you're commenting on this if you didnt even see/hear it.
