  1. Agreed. Clemson and Bama are pretty interchangeable imo. Oklahoma will be 5 in the actual rankings. But shouldnt matter if Bama is as good as they are hyped up to be. ESPN is already making a case for Ohio State. A very hard case. Oklahoma has a better resume currently. And plays a better opponent for CCG weekend (which if they win, would avenge their lone loss) so it shouldnt really matter.
  2. Im going with: 1. Clemson 2. Alabama 3. Notre Dame 4. Oklahoma 5. Georgia 6. Ohio State 7. UCF
  3. I fully expect us to flip our record next year and, if i can be extra optimistic, then some.
  4. At some point we have to start calling things for what they are. Roby isnt the best player on this team. Hes not the second best. Hes not even the third best. He is indeed the fourth best player on this team rn. Thats how hes playing and he has never really shown us much different. Now im not knocking him bc there are some really good players on this team and Roby does have the most NBA potential. But he is not currently the best player on the team nor has he ever been during his time here.
  5. Palmer shouldn't shoot a three the rest of the year (tad dramatic). Almost all the attempts i have seen from have looked so awful. Drive to the basket over and over. They almost always collapse on him which leaves someone literally anyone other than him open to shoot a 3.
  6. Wow this thread went toxic quick. I for one am not going to let a team that I have absolutely no control over on how they play ruin my long weekend. Yall have a nice holiday! GBR
  7. Roby hasnt looked like a first round pick to me at all this year, EXCEPT for that stretch late in the second half where he was aggresive and looked so powerful and quick. That spin he had on his way to the basket was niiiiice. Dudes who are 6'8 and 230 cant usually move like that. That Roby is definitely an NBA player But we need to see that Roby more often. Glynn and Copeland are playing great bball right now. James not so much, i liked how he deferred to his teammates in the second half and picked up some nice assists. Nana is gonna be our spark plug off the bench. No other bench player is capable of scoring more than a couple points at the moment. Tom Allen hit some threes and collected FIVE steals. Thats awesome.
  8. Satisfied with the performance. Looking better for a better measuring stick tomorrow night.
  9. As long as Miles can convey the right message we will be alright. That being, good dudes on good teams get noticed more than great dudes on bad teams do.
  10. But thats the playoff format I am in favor of. I would also add in home games through the semifinals and a neutral site NCG. Last thing I would add is top 4 seeds go to conference champions (wildcards not eligible to host QF games to emphasize conference champions) This is what that scenario would look like rn: (8) UCF @ (1) Alabama (4) Notre Dame @ (4) Oklahoma (6) Georgia @ (3) Michigan (7) Washington St @ (2) Clemson
  11. Dayton or Davidson with his brother I think.
  12. Another big man would provide the option to RS Brady, which could pay off down the road.
  13. Brad Stevens is one of the best coaches in basketball at the moment. And the team had Gordon Hayward (All-Star) and Shelvin Mack (currently averaging double figures on what looks like a playoff team).
  14. Its a small sample size, but im pleased with our front court so far. Roby and Copeland are dudes. And Tanner and Brady seem capable of getting a combined 15-18 min a night when needed.
  15. I forgot Paul White plays for Oregon. Wasnt he like a done deal to Nebraska until a last minute switch up?? Will go ahead and say we got the better of the two 6'9 F transfers from Georgetown!
  16. I dont think he was a consensus 4* top 150 player. I remember one recruiting service being fairly high on him. Could be wrong though.
  17. I think one recruiting service had him as a 4* top 150 player. Definitely wasnt a consensus 4* though.
  18. FCS teams play 4 to 5 playoff games (with an 11 game schedule and no CCGs, right?) An 8 team playoff for FBS would put them at a similiar number of games. If FCS student-athletes can handle it, i think FBS ones can. What specific type of 8 team playoff model would you like to see?
  19. I would highly doubt he ever plays the 5. He has the length and athleticism to play 4 (making up for the inch or two he lacks in height). Might not have the strength his freshman year though. I project him as a 3/4. But might start off solely on the wing if hes not strong/heavy enough his first year. There are probably a few ppl on here who would have a better idea on this though so i will defer to them.
