  1. Does KP know that Costello and Trueblood both went to Elkhorn South? Hes has said Millard South both this game and the exhibition.
  2. Brady and Amir checking in As many of us predicted, 10 players in the first half have already played.
  3. For those of you who listened to Half Court Press Podcast this week, that was Jon Nyawata's game he really wanted to watch tn. Wofford beat em last year. This years game is @ Wofford oddly enough.
  4. Already hit 4 threes to start this game (Watson 2, Palmer 1, Nana 1)
  5. Thor and Nana in. Tanner was the first guy off the bench. Amir hasnt checked in yet.
  6. Also what should i set the over/under on how many games before this thread turns into "Miles really dropped the ball on this kid he could really help us this year!!!!" at? ???
  7. We have a lot of instate kids around D1 (seems like more than usual). So i wanted to start a thread to keep all that talk in one place. Just to name a few players: - Ed Chang (Papio) and Aguek Arop (Omaha South) --> San Diego St - Aguir Agua (Omaha Central) --> Fresno State - Akoy Agua (Omaha Central) --> Louisville, yes he is still playing lol - Mike Daum (Kimball) --> South Dakota St, along with a handful of other players in the Summit League - Teddy Allen (Boys Town) and Isaih Chandler (Omaha Central) --> Wichita State - Tre'Shawn Thurman (Omaha Central) --> Neveda - Thik Bol (Omaha Benson) --> Southern Illinois
  8. I know the NBA is like that and has been for a couple years. Honestly, i dont watch college aside from the Huskers so wasnt really sure if that style of play had seeped down to the college game yet.
  9. I just dont want any slow starts in these gimme games. Blow em out and have the starters out resting five minutes into the second half. Theyre gonna need all the rest they can get it looks like
  10. Wasnt sure where to post this (so feel free to move it wherever it belongs) but in an OWH article Miles said the new offensive philosophy is threes, lay ups, and free throws. He doesnt want to see a lot of mid range jumpers. That is odd bc idk if we have the shooters from deep for that. Also, our 4 best players all have a pretty good mid range game right?
  11. Based off Miles comments sounds like Amir needs to step up as well
  12. Miles said the rotation is not set but the staff has 6 players they trust (5 starters + Tanner Borchardt). Per LJS
  13. The way Miles makes it sound, this wont really be a huge issue. Sometime earlier in the preseason I believe he said three out of our big four will be on the court at all times. So it wont be like a mass substitution of bench players, unless its a blowout.
  14. Copeland, Allen, and maybe Nana should all be good shooters this year. Everyone else (aside from our centers and Amir) should be good.
  15. I was just making a joke for all the people giving bluebird fans a hard time. "Whatd you think you were getting in to with a kid ranked that high (Bowen)" or something like that
  16. Thats getting pretty close to "pay range" isnt it???
  17. As for UCF, I moved them ahead of Ohio State bc they gained a win over a solid Temple team and Memphis and Pitt (now in first place of their ACC division) both won this week. As for the big picture, the other AAC teams arent really helping them out. Houston, Cincy, and South Florida have lost a combined 4 games in just the past few weeks. Thats really going to hurt their chances of collecting marquee/ranked victories.
  18. This is also how the committee will feel. But their schedule is just really, really bad. Bama's second best win is about as good as Clemson's fourth. And Clemson has been equally as dominant the past four games (outscoring opponents like 230-20 or something like that). The win over LSU moved Bama up from three imo. Plus Notre Dame's signature wins keep on taking losses (aside from Michigan).
  19. Resumes are really starting to take shape. Heres my take on it so far: 1. Clemson 9-0 2. Alabama 9-0 3. Notre Dame 9-0 4. Michigan 8-1 5. Georgia 8-1 6. Washington St 8-1 7. West Virginia 7-1 8. Oklahoma 8-1 9. UCF 8-0 10. Ohio St 8-1
  20. The 3Q was awful on offense. JD alligator armed what was prob a touchdown. And i believe Ozigbo got caught looking ahead at all the empty grass in front of him on a third and 5 the next drive or two. Im sure there was a couple more but thats what stood out. Those two passes and the atrocious special teams play.
  21. 9-26 from deep against ISU. 2-11 from Palmer/Watson. For whoever asked.
  22. Nana had nice back to back plays in the second half on offense, a beautiful three and a nice lapyup and one.
