  1. Big win today! We absolutely had to win this game, and I don't think many fans knew how big of a game it was. I was impressed with RI, they have some quality talent, they are well coached, and should be a bubble team at the end of the year. Glynn Watson is a baller, and he has ice in his veins late in the game which is very encouraging to see in a true freshman PG. He won't always shoot as good as he did today, but at least he's confident in his shot and he hardly ever turns the ball over unless he's trying to make a play, which we can live with. I still get pissed off watching Benny half the time. He really gave us nothing today most of the game until he hit the big three at the end (happy for him that he made it though!). For a senior PG, he turns the ball over way to much, and is really not a good ball handler. Looks like our best option at center is Jacobsen. Hopefully Tai can get healthy before Big Ten play. GBR!
  2. As my name suggests I am a fan of the Railyard. Can't go wrong with Gate 25 and Longwell's. One of my other favorites is the N Zone which is across the street to the east of G25. It's an older place, but I've always liked the vibe. It's also usually not as busy and the beers are cheaper (I'm a broke college kid). Food is underrated too.
  3. I don't think tip is til 7:45 so we might be alright
  4. New uniforms this year are sharp. Definite upgrade from previous ones. Props to Adidas on them.
  5. Miles has mentioned a few times that we shouldn't be surprised to see Benny and Glynn on the floor at the same time. Even though Benny is small Miles said that he could possibly guard a bigger player on the wing with Glynn guarding the point. I'm guessing Glynn is already a much better offensive player then Benny, with Benny a superior defensive player. Rebounding will probably be a challenge with them both out there, but it's probably going to be a weakness of ours all year with our well documented lack of size. Will be interesting to watch how this plays out.
  6. I saw on Twitter a day or two ago that TP hired an agent by the name of Alex Saratsis. He also represents Rudy Gay and the Greak Freak from Milwaukee I believe.
  7. I was told that he let the team know he was leaving on Monday. So that probably explains that Tai Webster tweet even more. I think we all wish Terran the best of luck and it will still be really cool to watch his progression in the NBA. I think his game really does translate well to the NBA. I've been to basically every home game the last 3 years and it was so fun and exciting to watch him play. He was responsible for some of the most memorable sporting events I have ever witnessed.
  8. Good point. We still do have Tai in the stable with PG experience even though he was moved to the 2 position this year.
  9. I think Pitchford is weird, quirky dude. And I base this soley off of watching him interact with teammates and others at games, etc., and also seeing how he acts and the bars (where he was a frequent visitor, and I am not judging him for this because I am also in college and visit the bars frequently). But, maybe he wasn't that close to anybody on the team and that's why it took them by surprise. That's just my thoughts on it.
  10. I have heard too that is likely that Fuller leaves and that Smith is on the fence. IMO both can be replaced but it hurts depth dramatically. It also puts a lot of pressure on Watson and Marrow coming in, and I hope those two are as good as advertised. Also if Petteway leaves (which I think is still 50/50) these two guys leaving would hurt even worse.
