  1. Another non-call against the 'Immaculate' Sellers.
  2. Coley gets knocked down, no call; following play Markowski gets a foul
  3. I just don't understand how we can always foul so much when Maryland (or any opponent) drives to the basket; but Never seem to get the foul call in our favor when we are shooting under Their basket, i.e. Markowski trying to shoot amid a forest of opponents arms.
  4. Husker Ladies Lead by Seven at Halftime. Red-Hot from Three (10-18 vs 1-2 for MD) but not so much underneath (7-14 vs 15-25 for MD). Treys are keeping us in the game, but we need to show up in the paint, where MD is doing a workman-like job (12 vs 24 for MD). Anybody's Game. Will we continue to shoot lights-out beyond the arc? Will we start showing up under the basket? Will the refs start calling some of the fouls against the favored team?
  5. Seems like Alexis Markowski's First Shot always seems off the mark, frequently put-backs go in. (seems like it takes her a little time to get the range.)
  6. Video Just Went OUT!!! ... WHEW! Just came BACK!
  7. Husker Ladies on Lead by THIRTEEN at the End of Q1...
  8. 8-4 Husker Ladies s @ 4:57 left in Q1. We can Hang with Maryland, Defense is stout and looking good, but I'd like to see a little more success in the paint. Maryland already has Four team fouls in Q1.
  9. From the Tournament Game Page: Maryland’s season has been affected by injuries, as the Terps have been limited to a seven-player rotation in the Big Ten Tournament. Sellers played much of the Big Ten season while battling multiple injuries but has still averaged 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists on the year. Sellers has been dynamic, averaging 18.0 points and 7.5 assists in the tournament’s first two games. Shyanne Sellers led Maryland with 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the win over the Buckeyes, Jakia Brown-Turner and Brinae Alexander each contributed 19 points. Faith Masonius pitched in a big double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Terps have lost Lavender Briggs (8.7 ppg, 5.0 rpg) and freshman Riley Nelson (5.1 ppg) to injury. That duo combined for 36 points off the bench in the first meeting this season between Nebraska and Maryland in Lincoln (Dec. 31) - an 87-81 Husker win. Emma Chardon is also out for the year.
  10. I Like the MSU TEAM!!! They show a lot of Class! Can't stand the Officiating Team who are Blatantly Inconsistent. With the Reputation of B1G Referees, Why doesn't the Big Ten Conference institute a program for Post-Game Critiques of the officiating to improve consistency.
  11. Husker Ladies WIN, by TWELVE ADVANCE To play MARYLAND, Tomorrow, Sat, 3/9/24 @ 1:00 pm CT
  12. We need some NIL for the Referees. (to fund remedial officiating if nothing else. )
  13. Husker Ladies by TWENTY @ the end of Three Qtrs!!! Foul Trouble and Questionable Reffing; so Watch-Out!
  14. Halftime!!! Husker Ladies by (Lucky) SEVEN!!! It seems like the trick for us is to Not Take the Bunny Shots; Kick it Out for a Tougher Shot!
  15. Is it just me or does it seem that even our (relatively) uncontested bunnies don't look like clean shots that go right in; they seem to roll around the rim again & again.
  16. One Point Game at the end of Q1. Treys are On (50%) but 5 for 16 from the field/paint.
  17. Need some Defense! Back to back Coast to Coasts!
  18. One of these days that (those) shot is going in! And we won't end up fouling!
  19. Husker Ladies win by 8 points! Hope this game gets the rust knocked off for the quarter-final game tomorrow vs Michigan State!
  20. Shelly with a buzzer-beater trey to tie the game at the Half. How Lucky are we to be Tied.
  21. It seems like we don't shoot the ball At the Basket; We shoot the ball Toward the Basket.
  22. Jacking up Treys (1-8) & Blowing Bunnies (2-10) Story of the Quarter. Too long of a lay-off.
