  1. It sure looks like you are correct @kansashusker. From NCAA site: (just call me the 1% ( https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=ncaa+scholarship+rules+for+wbb
  2. Fred Talks about the newly-signed class of Five! https://www.omaha.com/sports/college/huskers/teams/mens-basketball/in-the-huskers-2020-signing-class-fred-hoiberg-sees-five-program-changing-recruits/article_ff55fefc-0e11-533e-8727-d39c6664f8b1.html
  3. Good huskers.com article on Brandon Ubel's first year as a GA! https://huskers.com/news/2020/3/26/mens-basketball-former-husker-ubel-grateful-for-first-year-as-ga-at-utah-state.aspx
  4. I believe WBB programs are limited to 13 scholarships (instead of the 15 allowed for MBB). I think we currently have 11 on scholarship (with the 3 transfers), plus one walk-on, which should give us room to add two more scholarship players this year, should we be able to find (and want) them.
  5. Satisfied for next season? Not Quite! As I understand it Bella won't be eligible to play the upcoming season, same with Dillard (unless the NCAA relaxes their transfer rules, which I understand could very well happen). If we can manage to hang-on next season, 2021/22 could be special!
  6. The Third (Wo)Man, Bella Cravens! (Movie Reference )
  7. After Signing Day, Huskers are apparently still in the Hunt for: El Ellis (2021, could reclassify to 2020) Trevor Lakes DJ Carton > Marquette Jeff Otchere https://www.omaha.com/sports/college/huskers/teams/mens-basketball/nebraska-basketball-transfer-tracker-the-latest-on-potential-additions-to/article_21564333-0196-50e2-ae03-8ccaf0f65cec.html

  10. Signing Day - WBB And Perhaps One More! Parker?
  11. Thanks Jimmy. I remember them all, but like you I'm not familiar with Major Bowes. But Just going to show both our memories are incomplete, it was two characters: 'Walter Denton' & 'Philip Boynton' (I can still her Eve Arden saying 'Mr. Boynton.'
  12. Parker, our latest WBB potential Recruit!
  13. Anyone who likes Runza's just Can't Be ALL BAD! (Like Fred's Shirt! )
  14. GREAT FIND @whoopdeedoo!
  15. I know coaches and staff cannot comment on individual prospects until they have committed, BUT it sure would be nice to have some more in-depth reporting by the media (a common complaint recognized and shared by almost everyone on the board). There is a LOT more coverage for Men's BB, say like the OWH that keeps a running list and updates for potential transfers and recruits that are known to have been contacted by the school.
  16. Sheriff Chauncy: "Who's this guy, Rembrandt?" Gene Wilder: "Rembrandt's Dead!" 'Silver Streak' - movie worth watching while you're sheltering in place.
  17. Thanks @whoopdeedoo! Nice article by Brent Wagner at LJS. For those who can't read it, it mostly reiterates what we already know; very little new information re potential recruits (i.e. names, etc).
  18. You like Horse Racing because of the 'certainty?'
  19. Bugs1 did post this on the prior page. (may have been just poorly worded or expressed, I can't tell for sure. )
  20. Welcome (back), Mi'Cole! Btw: Excellent OWH article you posted @AuroranHusker
  21. IIRC the incoming coach (Amy Williams) may have had face-to-face meetings (or at least some contact) with all the recruits to see if she could keep them committed. Nevertheless Kathleen Doyle and Mi'Cole Cayton were two who decided to go elsewhere. Nieca Eliley, Hannah Whitish and Grace Mitchell re-affirmed their commitments.
