Jim Steinman was a great songwriter! Besides writing songs for Meatloaf, He did Nothing at All for Air Supply. Went all the way up to #2 on the charts, but it couldn't knock Total Eclipse of the Heart from #1. What an accomplishment.

Thought I'd check in to see how the Huskers are doing. Radio broadcast says we're in big trouble down 5-0 after 4 innings. I just started laughing. mrs. cip took Seth to the E.R. 1 a.m. Monday morning because he had blurred vision. Once he got there, he had a seizure and went flat line 3 times. He's doing much better today. Not out of the woods, but he knows he's won this battle. Just like the Huskers tonight. Gotta feeling they beat these pricks!

Since there is no "Mater Diop Is In" thread revival, I'm sensing no one cares.

This isn't an April 1st ordeal, but it's one I pulled off over mrs. cip. It had to be back in 2017 or so, we still had Conlee's. I wanted to have a surprise birthday party for her. But how do you do that when I cook, she waitresses at the restaurant? I lined up karaoke for that night and asked her to make all the sides for the salad bar. Little did she know she was making all the salads for her birthday party! It was the only way I could pull this one off. Boy, was she surprised! Not mad at all. She's such a sweetheart! I got bonus points when I sang this song to her.

I never should have started this thread. People have the right to make decisions about their lives. However, when you watch the video, Baylor is happy Mac gave him the chance to come to Creighton, back to Nebraska, Creighton. He didn't come back to Nebraska and I think he knows it.

I'm too lazy to look up old threads. This has been on my mind since Friday. Baylor could have been a Nebraska legend. No one west of 42nd Street in Omaha will recognize him. He seems happy with his choice. He helped the evil east team reach another Sweet 16. Good job. I wish him well, though If I ever see him, I won't know who he is.
