  1. We arguably have the best kid out of the state this year with Braden Frager. The problem with landing the Nebraska kids out of the portal you're talking about is that they are up there in terms of cost to obtain. Chucky has a Badger tattoo and he's on the road to signing with a Louisville team that lost 24 games last year. $$$ and it's tough to blame him.

  2. The players have to WANT to be here too. Obviously we reached out to Frankie. He visited. He chose elsewhere. We also can’t over pay just to get guys from the state. You make it sound like he has completely ignored in state talent when it seems like we’re usually the first to reach out.

  3. Is that according to Trilly? That guy is brilliant. Waits til a situation is 50/50, makes a guess and relies on the fact that most people will remember the 50% he gets right and not think about the 50% he gets wrong. And gets 40k people to pay him $1/month for it. Anyway, if that's true I think it'd be a decision Kyle regrets in the future. UCLA has two transfer bigs who played very well at the high major level last year. And have two true freshman bigs who each started 8 games last year. Three of those four players project as future draft picks. Three of them are pretty versatile but won't play the 3 next year as their 1-3 spots are full with five talented guards and wings. So they have nine players currently on the roster who have proven to be productive at the power conference level. Mick Cronin typically plays 7 or 8 guys in his rotation.

  4. Money talks and bulls*** walks. If they wanted to be here they'd consider taking less NIL to be Husker.

  5. Sam Griesel, Josh Allick, S. Hoiberg, Teggy Allen, Akoy Arop . . . are among the “best.”

  7. From what I know about this process, KW's representation is looking to get paid and you need multiple suitors for that. Not sure where he lands up but either Nebraska or UCLA are currently being used to up the price. He'll be at the spring game this weekend.

  9. That’s what I’m saying. If we keep winning games and going to the tournament, it will make them want to be here.

No inside knowledge but Michigan so far has taken Sam Walters Danny wolf Are looking like they'll get vlad goldin from FAU and have reached out to TJ power. He did say he was coming back, but Dusty seems to be recruiting over him as it stands. That's 3 guys between the 4 and 5, and are still recruiting that 4 spot. More a want tbh. I still really really like him. There may be some overlap with Morgan, but experience in the big ten matters.

  15. Quote from the coach “As we build our roster, Connor’s skillset fits what we are looking for,” Hoiberg said. “He has performed at a high level in the Big Ten and was one of the top freshmen in the conference two years ago when he set a school record for 3-pointers by a freshman. Connor is an outstanding shooter and has that confidence that good shooters have. He’s been on successful teams at both the high school and college level and the experience he has gained playing in the Big Ten the past two years should help him make the transition to our system.

  16. Career 73% from the field raises eyebrows. However, Wilhelm Breidenbach took his spot in the starting lineup this year.
