I like all that, as long as the motor revs as high as Josiah's. GBR Always.

I hate to dwell on this, but he really F'd this team. 99% of getting a dub or two in the tournament is matchup. I highly doubt we get A&M if Trev doesn't do what he did. NW the past two seasons get overrated, ice cold, mid majors. We get a P5 team with a top 10 ceiling, playing their best ball. So thanks Trev, parting gift of a lifetime.

  14. I like Amos. I don't blame Kyle for going to UCLA but kinda seems like he strung our staff along while wanting to end up anywhere but Lincoln.

You’re probably right. I’m just grasping at straws. A habit I have when I’m extremely disappointed.

Saw Cronin a couple of weeks on Cowherd. Came across to me as an arrogant little prick. Like what he said was both funny and relevant at the same time.Give me Fred any day. As far as Kyle is concerned, he just an elite athlete. We can find someone better offensively. He can’t shoot outside 5 feet. This smells like he went for the biggest payout. I fear he will regret his decision. He’s going to feel really awkward at the spring game. Oh, yes, this stance is the complete opposite of what I said earlier.

  18. Amen. As of right this second, we are hurting for bigs. We may have been rejected by a couple bigs that we were publicly chasing (although that door is not yet fully closed); but I am guessing that Fred still has a few cards up his sleeves. It is likely worth it for us to wait and see.

and not just for depth and toughness but someone with more than one year of eligibility to get us ready for next year when AM will be gone.

I personally believe we need two players in order for us to be a solid top 20 team. K. Williams is likely out for the year. So I would love to have a quick, annoying guard that can come in and wreck a bit of havoc on the opposing guards. Secondly, we need to find a replacement for Stewart/Mendalson. Petrie/Potts/Markowski/Coley are pretty solid; but securing a more intimidating post player for depth and toughness would be beneficial.

I hope we are too. Kinda worries me when I think about how brutal this conference is going to be starting next year. Just an absolute meat grinder of a conference. We need athletes.

  26. I guess that depends on who you're referring to and what those comments are. There are some locally who are very high on him. If you want the critical breakdown, decision-making still has plenty of room for improvement, although it's tough to hold that against him too much considering the pieces around him at Bryan. He's pretty turnover-prone, both getting his dribble ripped when he tries to do too much and some bad passing. Takes some really tough shots at inopportune times. This may just be a strength thing that a college S&C program will solve, but he can struggle to finish around the basket with even a little bit of contact at times. That being said, I've been impressed by the improvements he's made. He really did have a terrific season individually. The 3-point shot was more flashes than an actual weapon for him until this season (low 3s his first two seasons and didn't make many at all for MOKAN last summer), and this year he nearly doubled his attempts and still shot 40%. He's a very different player if the shot is for real, and it appears to be getting there. Good frame, long wing span, athletic enough. He can make some plays off the dribble, but we'll have to see how that translates to college. He rebounds it well, has some moves in the post and can make some impressive plays in transition.
