Full disclaimer, I am fairly young and the first Nebrasketball team I remember watching is the 2000-01 squad led by Cookie Belcher. So there may be some recency bias here, especially since the Tim Miles Era has produced much more athletic ability than the Barry Collier or Doc Sadler eras. Without further ado, my own personal top 5 Nebrasketball dunks of all time: 1. Jason Dourisseau breaks the basket. I'll admit I did not watch this one live, but did listen to the call on the radio and saw it on Sportscenter the next day. 2. Caleb Walker Alley-Oop vs. Illinois. One-handed alley oop from a pass outside the three point line... incredible. 3. Isaac Copeland posterizes 7'2" Isaac Haas. 4. Sek Henry posterizes Andre Drummond. Technically not a Nebrasketball dunk but I can't leave this one out. 5. James Palmer Jr. posterizes Kevin Huerter. This may not even be JPJ's best dunk but in the moment it so unexpected and dunking over a first-round NBA talent is a big deal. Honorable mention: * Roby rises up vs. Rutgers: * David Rivers dunk vs FGCU to open up the PBA * The Aleks Maric dunk, which always looked the same * JPJ Kobe Bryant dunk vs. Penn St. * The Cookie Miller dunk (he claimed he could do it but don't think I ever saw it) * Terran Petteway posterize vs. Baylor in the NCAA Tournament. would have made the list if this game had gone well3 points

I fail to see how anyone can blame this on Miles. First off, how do we know he wasn’t trying to recruit a big? If you’re a grad transfer or Juco, you want to probably go somewhere to play. All spring we had our Big 5 coming back, then Jordy off the bench. When the recruiting pitch is that we have our top 6 returning, we start small, then bring in our Jr center off the bench first, it doesn’t sound appetizing to recruiting a big. It would have been a completely different recruiting pitch if it was “after our starting 5, YOU could be the 6th man off the bench.” That’s why this is all on Jordy. The timing is crap and therefore the decision is crap. This one isn’t on Miles because it’s a lot different sell had Jordy been gone earlier.3 points -

He’s coming off of surgery—again. Probably figures a redshirt year and some fresh faces would be good for him. it will be interesting to see if the coaches saw this coming and have a back-up plan.1 point

I'm not worried about 5 seasons from now. This years team has potential to do damage, and if Heiman is better than Borchardt and can provide serviceable minutes you play the better play NOW1 point -
With Jordy's lack of a vertical, I'd call him ground steak.1 point

Ultimately, it's good news offensively. We have 5 guys on the floor who can put the ball on the floor and Jordy wasn't making that any easier. Defensively, I don't love it. Jordy played really well on that end last year and I don't know how we'll handle the glut of hard-rebounding bigs in the Big Ten this year.1 point -
