    OT: Going to the Hospital

I don't care what name is on the arena, how much money did the arena get for the sponsorship? I'll guarantee you the Dinsdales didn't pony up 1 million plus per year to put their name on the arena in Lincoln. Good for MECA and the city of Omaha. Making money...

    18-19 depth

Great job by Thomas. Looks like an extremely high character young man. And quite frankly I believe we have more than a few of those high character kids on this team.

    2018 Transfer Market

Here's a wild one: Vanderbilt junior C D'jery Baptiste (6-10) will graduate in December and transfer then. Miles offered back in 2014, but he chose Vandy over UConn. 15-16: Redshirt 16-17: Played in all 35 games, made one start, scored 1.8 ppg and grabbed 1.9 rpg. 17-18: 10 starts in 29 games, 15 minutes per game, 3.4 points, 3.6 rebounds per game. 75 percent from FT line last year. Could join a team by mid-December and then play all of 19-20. Not sure we're in the market, but if we're looking for some depth off the bench in the front court ... Am I the only one who thinks we still need a big body for this year?

  10. Either that, or you buy out the naming rights and call it the "Shim Shams Arena" and write it in the contract that they get first rights to all halftime entertainment, including all concerts and events.

  11. There are lots of ways to do it... One example: You can set up the entire country into regions, much like they do at the High school level and after conference tournamnents or instead of conference tournaments, you could have regional tournaments to play into the NCAA tourney. Just as you say there are way too many teams to have a way for teams to control their own destiny via set goal posts to achieve...I say there are too many teams to use the eye test to determine the national championship participants.

  12. I despise the eye test...in both college basketball and college football. I really hate the way we use the figure skating scoring method of picking participants in our national championship tournament. I would much rather see a system where a team knows exactly what it has to do to make the tournmanent before the season starts not after it is over when they are then told where the goal posts were.
