As for having a much better record I know some people will say "I will have to see it to believe it". My optimism stems from the following: More depth and experience, 2nd year under a new coaching staff, one more year in the training room for all returning players & two highly rated recruits. The biggest will be a big uptick in team chemistry which ties everything together.

Let's put it this way...we might win more non conference games this season... than we won on all of last year's schedule.

Can't believe writer rates us below Rutgers ( but then I don't follow the StonyBrook magic too closely). Always better to be under-rated when the season starts though, so thanks, Matt.

Kind of think the key word for next years development is the freshly given flexibility......that is... flexibility we didn't have last year. We, out of necessity....just had little ability to substitute with any experienced players. We were so new, and short handed... it was tough to be competitive. The two new freshman I doubt will be bench warmers...we need rebounding and shooting immediately. The two new red shirt guards will really reinforce the position. We'll still be young (and short on experience) but......Things are looking up !

Not sure about the start of the season, but I definitely have Watson and Allen as our established starting back court at some point. I think they're going to look a lot like Kansas' guards from last season.

it's pretty dead even, but i'll give the edge to the red because of watson.

With Kate committing to us. In the final ESPN Rankings we came in 20th for best 2017 recruiting class. Interesting

50 K might be the listed salary, but think of all those $100 hand-shakes from rich Alums, free dinners around town, and all the other perks that would accompany such a position.
