If Tai gets picked & AW-III doesn't, that will be some type of justice or somethin'

We'll be hurting... certainly not better off... but I think we can still compete.

He readily admits the need to improve in that area, and said he's battling Husker sophomore Isaiah Roby in on-the-court workouts. He's also worked to improve the consistency of his jumper and his ability to get open off screens and create for himself off the dribble. McVeigh said he'll play mostly at the 3 spot in Taipei, so being able to handle the ball at a high level will be crucial. "I'm a lead-by-example type of guy, so just making sure I'm in the gym the most, getting the most shots up and kind of being that voice (in workouts)," McVeigh said of trying to take on more of a leadership role in the offseason. "Just really helping everyone. We want to do something special, so you really have to set up that leadership because that's a big part of winning."

    How Good Is Tai Webster??

No he wouldn't. He seems to have been working to improve his shot by getting the shoulders back. You should land slightly in front of where you take off on your jump shot but you need to get the shoulders back. When that happens it creates a flatter angle at the shoulder giving you more arch and a more consistent shot. Here are some people who have shot with their shoulders back in the past and going forward.

I am going to repeat what I have said for four years, Tai is a very good basketball player. Oftentimes a player is only judged by one facet of his/her game. Tai can score, he still needs to improve his shot, but he can defend, he plays with a chip and he has other intangibles that elevates his game. Glad he stuck with the Huskers for four years!

Sorry. That was the prophetic coming out in me. My inner Nustudent says 6568 is the year we win our first NCAA Tourney game.

Today's OWH article on Rob Childress made me want to puke. AD Byrne chose Anderson over Childress because of his longevity at Nebraska? Sigh, what could have been.
