  1. And here I was hoping to make jokes for a full season. Oh well I guess. But... by a show of "Hans," who thought the jokes were pretty funny? And if you didn't like them... you can get out. That is "Hans" down the funniest stuff that I got. Thank you, Thank you, I am here all night!

  3. Not only the game Minny didn't have to play but also the tie game we had. B1G needs to make some changes. Somehow SEC, Big 12 and PAC 12 have all avoided a tie in conf play. Mandate early start times on sundays if that's what it takes.

    Sam Haiby is N

I have a picture with Erstad and he never asked me to play ball; however, he did mention if I was hitting he would have to have Ben Miller pinch run for me to get more speed on the base-path.

  7. As a former student tutor at the Hewitt Academic Center in what would've been the 2005-2006, I'm not surprised to see this was the start of the APR dark ages. During my initial orientation, I was actually told that certain members of the mens basketball team were problem children. I remember telling my trainer that I was actually a big fan of the team and that I hoped I could help to turn that around (). He told me to need not worry because I most likely wouldn't have any Nebrasketballers. The way the system was organized, tutors would only work with student athletes that were taking the same course numbers and my major didn't really include any courses that were frequented by student athletes. I think this was a big flaw in the system...basically suggests that someone with a higher level understanding of a subject isn't capable of teaching to a more remedial level? Also, for once in my life my gender may have also limited me. After each meeting, the student tutor and student athlete would provide feedback on how things went. Apparently a lot of the members of the mens basketball team would downgrade their male tutors until getting a female tutor

  11. It's still a valuable skill - as the markets plummet with 24/7 Trump News and the natural correction is was probably going to make anyways - you might need other job outlets.

Was at a tournament with my daughter a few weeks ago and saw Haiby play. Tons of potential to be really good!

    2017-18 Transfer list

He tore his ACL the November he arrived there and never really recovered Kansas needed center depth and playing/developing under them was more important than playing time. Also his brother had played for Wichita St so he was familiar with Kansas (His family is from the Bahamas). Not exactly sure why he transferred away from Ole Miss but I'm not sure if you need any reason these days. He was a bit of a raw prospect who hadn't played a ton of basketball as a kid. His soph. year at Ole Miss he put up great numbers in his limited time. For a team like Kansas that is a revolving door of prospects it's good to have a guy like that who is highly effective and is ok with being a role player who wanted to work into being a starter. Unfortunately for Coleby (and Kansas) it didn't work out that way.

  16. In all fairness, it's also an opportunity for Minnesota to have one more win as well. I wonder if the Minnesota skipper did the math and determined that playing one additional game with Rutgers wouldn't add value to their Big Ten title chances.

  18. I would like ours to be Rutgers. It would seem a natural since Danny Nee almost went there, and an excellent way to pick up another league victory every year. And the Sopranos was real popular out here too.

  19. Meh, I think I'd prefer it be Iowa... ...unless KU and Oklahoma join the league. Then I want it to be one of them.

  22. Not too many charges are earned by standing in a spot. You have to move your feet to beat them to the spot. You take out the charge and offensive players just lower their shoulder and run people over on the way to the hoop. You can't play any defense when you allow the offense free rein to run through people.

  23. Their pitching staff is absolutely frightening. I don't think any 2 seed is getting out of Corvallis. Hopefully we take care of business and get a beatable 1 seed.

  25. Does he wear glasses? On a more serious note, Zach Copeland, the well-known JUCO transfer who signed with Illinois St, was out of San Francisco. Perhaps we saw someone on the game film when scouting him.

    2017-18 Transfer list

Man oh man... one of the nice thing about having nearly 1000 transfers a year is the opportunity to pick up diamonds in the rough who transfer this late in the game. I have said it once and I will say it again. In this day and age, it is almost smart to hold 1 scholarship back because guys transfer whenever they want to it seems.
