    Highlights

    • White injured the shoulder in practice before Ohio St. He and Watson really haven't been practicing the last two days
    • Shields doesn't look limited nor has he been shying away from contact

    Last time out

It was the "Andrew White game" as he single-handedly picked up the slack for the missing Shavon Shields. White scored most of Nebraska's points in the first 10 minutes, Penn St grabbed a lead, and Nebraska clawed their way back to a 1 point half time lead with a last second Watson 3. White came out firing again, Brandon Taylor picked up 2 quick fouls and Nebraska continued on a 39-7 run to finish off Penn St halfway through the second half.

    The Skinny

Both teams view this as a "we don't want to play on Wednesday in the B1G tourney" / get into some post season sort of game. Penn State has grabbed wins over Indiana and Iowa inbetween their drubbing at Nebraska and their gimmie vs Rutgers. Donavan Jack has stepped up the last 2 games with double digits and the Nittany Lions have been connecting at less than terrible rates from the 3 lately. While this still isn't a particularly good team, it's no doubt that Pat Chambers will have his squad fired up.

Shavon Shields comes back and as the team's leading FT taker vs the B1G team giving up the highest percentage of FTs, a big boost for a team on the road and a 2 game skid. Andrew White is still calibrating his shot after a shoulder injury bothered him into one his worst shooting games of his life and Glynn Watson has been sick to the point of not practicing. Look for the Huskers to initially working inside after last game's shooting debacle, hopefully pump faking their way onto the FT line against a tall but hacky Penn St. front court. Expect a rebound from last games poor shooting night, which is an outlier instead of the norm for this year's team.

Penn St is one of the grittiest teams in the conference but Nebraska grits back behind the return of Shavon Shields.

    Prediction: Nebraska 71 - Penn State 67

Line seems high to me. This would seem closer to a toss up. But Vegas probably knows more than I do about these things

Penn State is favored by one.

Between the game time and the line, Dimes may need a Lifeline from Red Don..... ;)

If you want to sync your TV to the radio, tonight is the night.

A bit OT Dimes (and you may not know the answer to this), but will sync-ing the TV broadcast work only if you are listening to the radio over-the-air, Or do you know if can one sync when you are listening to the game over the web via the Huskers.com link?

For example;  if I am listening to the webcast with my android phone,  the audio is about 20 sec 'ahead' of the tv video. But for some reason, If i am listening to the webcast with my I-pad, the audio is about 20 sec 'behind' the tv-video.

(If I listen with the I-pad, I can get close to syncing by 'pausing' the dvr for 20 sec or so, until the televised action matches the audio. :))
