This may well be a close game. If the game was on our court, and Purdue had not just lost a game, we might have been able to sneak up on them. (reverse of that is they're now questing them selves)

One thing to note is they haven't played a real tough schedule. They have been able to beat most of the teams they should, but don't usually blow anybody out either.

Us winning is predicated on another game like our best and last game with Rutgers.  If Purdue is fired up because of their loss to OSU...then it will be tough. (OSU ran circles around Purdue in the 2nd half, ...watched some of the game)

Prudue doesn't seem have a consistent 20 pt scorer, rather has balanced fairly athletic group. Pretty much all can score, play defense, rebound decently, and get up and down the floor, etc etc. Some games they can hit 3s, although they don't every game, rather takes what the defense gives them. Just a good overall team.....not so many big "stars"

Our chance's may be with our bigs. Purdue has a couple of decent sized bigs, but they may not be quick enough to stop Jess. Hopefully Jess, Burns, and Allie have a good night. ...and Nat, and RT, and......and......

Maybe it will be a nail biter and we get it done. .....Can this really be our 18th game?

As Jeff Greisch would say last year y player is the X factor for this game. so who is the X factor player going to be in the game tomorrow night? Clark? Simon?

did anyone else catch coach yori and matt on sports nightly tuesday night? maybe i am way off base, and feel free to correct me. coach yori was discussing rachel. to me, it sounded like rachel may have become really frustrated with the younger group in practice. seemed to be causing a little problem, therefore, rachel may have needed a little "attitude adjustment" (not starting).

if true, hopefully it's all water under the bridge now. huskers need rachel to perform like rachel can.

btw, it was a great interview with kendall clark. impressive young woman.

We would be ahead by 10 more without all the turnovers.  We kind of looked like we got a little tired, or lost a little focus by all the subbing near the end of the half.

Purdue is being slowed by our defense. Can we keep it up? Our size seems to bother them.

Think we may go to Jess a little more...get Nat free somehow....RT has to continue to score. Their bigs are slower than I thought.

Definitely winnable.

all in all a good half should be up a bunch more though. PBP is saying that the reason the turnovers are so high is that the officials are being graded tonight, and they are going to call anything that looks close to a travel etc. I not making excuses just telling you what they are saying.
