Row6Seat10
A big HHC welcome goes out to Nicea Eliely (2016) a 6'1 guard from Rampart High school in Colorado Springs who has given NU a verbal pledge. She becomes Nebraska's third commit of the 2016 class joining Mi'cole Cayton and Kathleen Doyle. https://twitter.com/rockiesbsktbl/status/640595591517462528 http://www.rockiesbasketball.com/teams/default.asp?u=RBC&s=basketball&p=profile&playerID=265907
Row6Seat10
ESPN says this about her: A three star athletic, versatile guard with superior length on perimeter brings off-the-charts potential; midrange game creator, elevates on jumper; body control to rim, finishes in traffic, vs. contact. http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/211925/nicea-eliely

Row6Seat10
The following is what Blue Star Basketball said about her after an AAU tournament in Kansas City this summer. The AAU Colorado Rockies have lots of options to call upon and 6-1 Nicea Eliely is a good number to call. Long, lean and very athletic, there’s versatility to her game that makes her value top shelf. Even better is the fact that she still appears to evolving making her future as bright as she might want it to be. On the offensive end she’s in constant motion with and without the ball. She can put it on the floor and has a lengthy first step that will challenge defenders big and small. Once she’s in the neighborhood she can get up to finish among the bigs and find a cleaner look at the rim. In transition the guards love her because they know she’s going to get out in the lanes and provide them options. Defensively she’s got the golden combination of length, wingspan and lateral footspeed. Play her anywhere in fullcourt situations and you’re going to get results. It’s not really about what she is right now but what she might become down the road. Silverbacked1

kansashusker
it most likely means that is the jersey that was handy in the locker room when she decided to try one on for a photo.

mwm89
She looks athletic, and sounds like she has really stepped up on the offensive end. I hope she turns out to be one of those underrated players. Also sounds like she has the work ethic needed. Keep working, Nicea!
