2nd leading scorer Drew Crawford is out for the year with a shoulder injury. Feel bad for the guy. He can apply for a medical RS so hopefully does get that.

This makes yet another team to lose a key component of their team (Frazier of PSU the other). Maybe now we can sneak past another team??? NW was off to a decent start to at 7-3.

Definetly a big blow for Northwestern, but they are more of a system team, and can more easily plug someone into his position and still be successful. Unlike Penn State where Frazier handled the ball so much and was such a big part of their offense, he is much harder to replace.

I'm not saying that it's not a big loss for Northwestern but I think they can handle it better, because of the system they play in, and they still have Sobolewski.

Yeah, but with how our injury situation is going... some things are not looking bright closer to home.

The difference is that for Nebraska, our injuries aren't to our top guys, at least not yet.

Yea, but we aren't deep enough to afford any injuries this year. That just forces us to go deeper down the bench and that will be a huge issue.

If the injuries linger. If it's something that they can get by for only a couple of games sitting out, I could see the bench shortening for a game or two.

Hmm... I wonder if that is why Drew's productivity in games had significantly tapered off since early in the year.

Indeed, with the Princeton offense, the 'Cats will find ways to get others into the game.
