OK, so we had a mandatory meeting a couple weeks back for open tryouts for walkons. Did anything come of that? Did we get any new walkons?

Second, did anyone have any trouble logging onto the site last night? I got some message that said the site had exceeded its bandwidth agreement or something like that, would be temporarily shut down, and to check back later. Anyone else see anything like that or know what was going on?

First, I think I read on another thread that no one made the team from the open tryouts but I don't have any official information on that.

Second, I have no idea. I hadn't logged on since yesterday afternoon and it seemed to work fine.

Miles said in yesterdays news conferance that no one made the team from the tryouts. If they were not good enough to be put into the game, he didn't see a reason to take them on. We already have practice players.

And yes, I had trouble last night too Norm.

I know one of the guys from the Ticket tried out for the team as one of the walk-ons. They were giving the guy a hard time yesterday for not making the team. haha!

I think it was search bots and I think I have it figured out.

Don't worry, this is a HHC rebuilding year...we're only going to get better.

Scout board guru also reported a couple days ago Miles didn't see that gem in the rough at the open tryout. Guess he was not impressed with my Chuck Taylor high tops!
