Norm Peterson
In the month of February, in 4 games, 3 of them against (highly) ranked teams ... Shavon Shields is averaging 9.25 points and 5.5 rebounds; David Rivers is averaging 8.75 points and 4.5 rebounds; Ray Gallegos is averaging 7.75 points and 3.25 rebounds; Brandon Ubel is averaging 7.75 points and 7.25 rebounds; and Dylan Talley is averaging 18 points, 3.25 rebounds, and 1.25 assists. A freshman and a sophomore are our 2nd and 3rd most productive players so far in the month of February. Just thought y'all might like to know. BigTexHusker
Hmmm, very interesting. Thanks for the info. B1G won't be as scary or intimidating as it was this year for a couple of guys
MandRHusker
I also like that Shields and Rivers have the 3rd & 4th best shooting %s of any active player at 46% and 44% respectively. And Shields has the best 3 point shooting percentage of any active player at 36%. They're not only upping their game in terms of production but they're doing it effeciently! That will matter to Kenpom's computer when he ranks teams to start the season off next year. 49r
Huskerpapa
Pretty good stats for Rivers and Shields, considering this is their first real tour thru this conference.
