The key for me is my aging hands to not accidentally allow 2 drips of bitters into the mix. One dash takes the sweetness down a notch perfectly, 2 makes it a little, well, bitter.

If the worst thing about aging was having a compulsion to tell people to get off your lawn, it wouldn't be all that bad. But ruining cocktails? I draw the line.
