Another thread we had going on the other board was the preseason rankings that had come out. Lindy’s had the Huskers coming in at # 19 and one of three B1G teams ranked. Other polls will most likely come out in the following days.

College Sports Madness has a countdown of the top 44 teams in their opinion counting down with a new team each day revealing the # 1 team on the opening day of the season. #44 thru 30 are now revealed. #25 - #1 are a couple of posts further down.

The preseason AP poll came out this morning and the Huskers come in at #18. This has to be the first time ever that the Huskers are picked preseason higher than Tennessee. Creighton gets one vote. Our opponents are in bold print. Baylor to no surprise received all first place votes.
