Miles said he has reached out to Lue to see if he could address the team about various things.  He said he hoped he could get things worked out so it would happen.  Cool.

That should answer some questions people have had over the last year or two.....

It was an ok Danny Nee story - 

 

After the Huskers were in a slump during Lue's Sophomore year, Nee decided that he wanted the team to do some extra conditioning.  However, he didn't want the team to be mad at him so he told Lue he was going to ask him what he thought and he wanted Lue to say ok.

 

So it came to the practice and he told the guys that he thought they needed some more conditioning.  They all grumbled and thus he asked Lue:  "Well, do you think we need more conditioning?"  Lue was actually disappointed in the team at the time so he agreed with Nee and thus the players were sore at him instead.

Yeah, dimes, I agree.  Woulda made it a better story if Lue had said that when Nee asked him during practice about having the team do more conditioning, he'd have said, "No, coach, I think we're good."  

 

Man, the meltdown he could have caused.  Woulda put Bo Pelini to shame.
