Ominous Tweet Re: Roster Attrition

Recommended Posts

I am hoping that the lack of new recruits being looked at (I know the well here is pretty much dry at this point) and recruiting news for next year is an indication that most everyone will be back.  Agree there are at least two underclassman that should test the waters.  Most however, never to fix holes in their game before they are NBA ready.

Gimme a grad transfer or JUCO 4/5 player with the rest of the roster holding serve and I am extremely happy.

We win the second most games in school history and no one can guess that until you brought it up!

We’ve got work to do fellas!  We need to up our hashtag game.

Hashtag of the week anyone!?!?  Haha!

In my defense, I like my acronyms to actually start with the letters of each word.

but my hashtag game is weak

I would prefer our next 3pt specialist actually be good at making 3 pointers.

No offense to Gill but he was blah.

In Nebraska's wins Gill was 41-95, 43.1%.  In losses he was 13-48, 27.1%.

Through the first 18 games (home against Wisconsin) he was 36-75 for 48%.  After that he was 18-68, 26.5%.  It could be that the wear and tear on his knees, after coming back from those injuries, affected him at the end of the year, or it could be that he just went into a slump after he got into the starting lineup.

Could be several things like he really lit up lesser opponents like North Dakota, Marist, Long Beach St, UTSA, Delaware St. and Stetson.  Regardless he sure beat everyone's expectations for this year.

I've heard from multiple people that he's likely going to Creighton, frustratingly.

I'm just waiting for the WORD OF ROSENTHAL on either Jack or clarification to whether Tanner has a schollie next season before I put on the full court twitter press as everyone knows that all the highest of high character dudes base their decisions on tweet game.

Just sort of crunching through some talk radio stuff today and heard some points where people would say that Miles always has to rebuild because players leave.

It just made me remember that after we went to to tourney in 2014 that didn't happen with the exception of Nate Hawkins.

Some folk seem to only recall that 8 guys have left NU in the past 3 off-seasons. Four years ago is, evidently, "ancient history."

Well, frustratingly, if that happens I'll kill myself.

Fuck the blue team in Omaha. Now and forever. ??

All we would have to do is what Carl wanted to do to Judge Smails:

I think that's just based on that tv report, which was based on basically nothing. So it's just people repeating something that was reported without any kind of verification. Doesn't mean it isn't true, but no reason to believe it is either.

Otz was an assistant at ISU under McDermott so the speculation is, if Daum does leave SDSU then Otz would push him towards Creighton.
