HuskerFever Posted February 7, 2018 Report Share Posted February 7, 2018 Most of you know, I've been harping on the fact that (1) we're one week ahead in the schedule than every other conference and (2) we haven't been getting much national attention that we need to be able to stake our claim in an NCAA bid. This most recent win doesn't really mean much from the novice or non-Nebrasketball fan, but it does go a long way for us. We just picked up yet another big road win and we've just tied our longest winning streak (since the "don't lose a cupcake win" stint). I'm over it. We've got five more regular season games. Let's just get to work, knock down some wins, and find our way into the tournament. The last bye week did us well. So what if we're in another bye week after the Big Ten tourney? We're going to fare pretty well during that break too when some bubble teams drop. People are paying attention now. Let's give them something to talk about!
