2-4 other big ten games...

Recommended Posts

ones you might want to keep and eye on: (in relation for the battle in the top 4 spots for big ten tourney)

Purdue (6-3) @ Illinois (0-10) would like to see Illinois get first 'w'

Minnesota (6-3) @ Iowa (5-5) go iowa? (ugh, that's hard to say😖)

Michigan (8-3) @ Rutgers (5-5) could be a struggle for Michigan, but, still think they pull this one out

MSU (4-6) @ Penn St (4-6) really don't see either of these teams making a run to put themselves in position for one of the double bye spots

still believe Maryland and OSU are a lock for 2 of the 4 spots. that leaves huskers, michigan, purdue, minnesota, and iowa battling for the other 2 remaining spots. i don't think Rutgers will be able to stay in the running. probably going to be a lot of juggling yet.

As mentioned previously O. St. has the easiest path to probably the 2 seed.  We will be fighting Michigan for 3rd (very important to not be in same bracket as Maryland).  Minne and Purdue will be in competition as well but all of us have a lot of tough games left including Maryland.  Then there are always the big upsets..  Should be interesting.  Today will be the first step in providing more clarity.

This is obviously a Hugh game for us.  My gut feeling is that we may need to beat Maryland once to finish in the top 4 in the conference. It hurt our chances when Purdue beat Michigan.  We have the tiebreaker over Purdue but Michigan has it over us. Ohio State has a fairly easy schedule for the remainder of the season and will most likely leap frog us. Minnesota is also right there in the thick of things but the have 4 tough games remaining. Can we finish the season with 2 or fewer loses?  It will not be easy but we definitely have a chance.  This has been an interesting Big Ten season and it will be interesting to see how it finishes.

couple minutes into second quarter, Rutgers leads 15-9. Michigan with 9 turnovers.

That would be a huge gift if Rutgers can win this game.   Rutgers up by 2 with just under two minutes in 2nd quarter.
