The comparison between Palmer and Petteway has some merit in terms of their tools.  And their size.

 

Key difference is you don't cringe at most of Palmer's shot selection and think "just because you made it doesn't make it a good shot."  Palmer almost always seems to let the game come to him and almost always seems to take over in the 2nd half.

 

And it seems like it's either layups or fouls in the last 5 minutes, which gives us a huge advantage.

Two completely different teams. How many players on Petteways team did you trust to take a shot? I can think of more who I cringed when they had the ball offensively than I trusted to score it. With this current team, im completely fine with the entire top 8 taking shots. Petteway took a lot of bad shots bc he had too.

 

Anyways, both are remarkable talents. Glad they both decided to become Huskers.

Agree Norm, Palmer will get out of control at times but it seems in crunch time, he has been money.
