Scary situation he was hurt on previous trip and laying under basket they were shooting at, other end Miss. St. stole it and guy went in for layup off balance a bit and landed on right on his head.  Incredible that play was not stopped.  Hope the young man is okay.  It looked to be the freshman Weatherspoon who is pretty decent player for them.

That's not good. Was his first injury related to the second one?

I don't know for sure but it looked like a lower body injury of some kind the first time, and carted off due to getting his head landed on.  Did not have volume on that game, but that looked like what happened.

Not to make light of the situation, but at least it wasn't two blows to the head. That tends to do much more serious brain damage. Hopefully the kid is alright.
