East Tennessee State/VMI - ETS is receiving votes
Kansas/Baylor - keep Baylor out of the conversation
North Carolina/NC State - knock NC State down
Miami/Boston College - win/win; close to moving to Tier 2
Mississippi State/Missouri - tough one, but Missouri is getting hot
Texas/TCU - just keep TCU out of it
Auburn/Georgia - Georgia is on the decline
Purdue/Michigan State - important for Big Ten tourney standings
Florida State/Notre Dame - keep FSU out of it

It's only going to get more complicated with these match-ups as the weekends go on. Wouldn't mind having the majority of bubble teams to falter Saturday to help us out later down the road.

Thanks for making those lists of bubble games again.

 

One difference for me is that I’ll be rooting for Michigan State over Purdue. MSU would need three losses and we’d have to go undefeated for us to get the 3 seed. I’d rather have Purdue lose so OSU can get the 1 seed. That way we’d avoid Purdue until a potential conference championship.

Technically Michigan State can still get the #1 seed, which might not be good for us this year. So it's that awkward balance of ensuring Purdue/MSU get the #2/#3 seeds.

I think 7 is most likely.  6 isn’t out of the question.  I would say 6 is more likely than 8 though.  I don’t think Baylor or ISU are in unless they go on big runs.  TCU, Texas, KSU, and OKST could all falter.
