Dec. 31, 2017  Ohio State 85, Indiana 70 Columbus, OH
Maryland 69, Penn State 65 University Park, PA
Northwestern 74, Illinois 59 Champaign, IL
Nebraska 79, Minnesota 74 Minneapolis, MN
Iowa 82, Michigan 72 Iowa City, IA
Rutgers 61, Michigan State 58 East Lansing, MI
Purdue 57, Wisconsin 35 West Lafayette, IN

was reading a bit about the Purdue-Wisc game.  Wisconsin was missing its leading scorer---ok, but, went 13:33 without scoring. ugh.

even though Penn St was at home, surprised it was that close. i watched about a game and a half of Penn St during non-conf and they did not look impressive at all. evidently starting to come around a bit. NW-Illinois really surprised me. at this point, would have to say: OSU, Maryland, then Rutgers. Rutgers is back.

It's early, but  as whoop says,  so far it currently looks like the leagues split with OSU, Maryland, then Rutgers, maybe Minn too, are in the upper half,  Mich, Iowa in middle,, then us, Penn St,  Mich St,.......then everyone else.  A couple B1G teams seem to be struggling.  Will see how good Iowa is when they meet the top half of the league. They're playing pretty well......Gustophson (sp) is playing well and probably the key for them. (watched them yesterday)

But there's a long way to go for everyone, and injuries, etc can influence how it all ends,.

We're improving and moving up.  More games like at Minn and we could win quite a few more. Our schedule is all over the map, play a tough team, then not so much, then a tough team, then..      But we need everyone healthy, and ready to compete...and be consistent. We're young overall, so that consistency is not always there yet. ...but it's coming on.

Wisc. scored 12 pts. the first half. and at one point Purdue was 35, that when the subs came in and Wisc. made the game close.
