Nicea's Injury

I heard today that Nicea has a small fracture on the medial side of her ankle. She is expecting to start some light running this coming week.

Hopefully her rehab continues to go well.  She is a very important part of our team and with the better depth we have this year they should be able to gradually work her back into the line up.

The radio said that her time line to return was around Thanksgiving.

Even as good as the game went yesterday.....we did miss Nicea's defense.  It looks like we can be a decent defensive team as we get a few more games under our belt.

 

Kind of looked like we were in the run the offense and score phase yesterday.  But we did have steals, and a couple of blocked shots.  This is going to an "active" team.  Better put your glasses on and pay attention.

Hearing that Nicea's rehab is going well, and even a little ahead of schedule.   She should be back for the San Juan Shootout at the latest.  Could even suit up Sunday.   Janay isn't too far behind Nicea with her recovery.
