Did Eichorst have anything to do with this?

If we were involved with this and went 6-12 in the conf, we would be the worst cheaters of all time. It looks like this was only ELITE level talent, guys ADIDAS wanted to sign for NBA contracts down the road. We would be in no way involved.

Ooh.  We're an adidas school. Kinda the last thing we need right now is to be caught up in some controversy.

I doubt that we need to worry about being directly apart of this; who that we landed would Adidas pay because they thought the guy would go pro? Also when we recruit guys sometimes people just ask them how much they were paid to be here just to make sure....

...and don't think for a second that this will end with just Adidas.  This likely permeates throughout all the apparel entities.  It also ties to the AAU programs and so forth.  We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg in my humble opinion.  And does anyone think this relates to basketball only?

Hopefully this will help bring a new era of parity back to Basketball in college.  Could only help Nebrasketball, IMO.

Oh Nike for sure does the same thing, these coaches are gonna flip on other coaches and schools for reduced penalty by the law. Football with the explosion of 7 on 7 summer squads are pushing towards the same problem, but basketball still seems to be the perfect environment for this situation to go down.

Looks like its four assistants from Auburn (Chuck Person), Arizona (Emmanuel Richardson), USC (Tony Bland), and Okie St (Lamont Evans).

Person has only coached college for Auburn (2014-present).

Emmanuel Richardson

1998–1999 Pitt-Johnstown (assoc. HC)
2001–2004 Monroe College (asst.)
20042005 Marist (asst.)
2007–2009 Xavier (asst.)
2009–present Arizona (asst.)

Tony Bland was at SD St for 2012-2013 and then USC from 2013-present.

Lamont Evans: http://okstate.com/coaches.aspx?rc=226  This guy followed Frank Martin to Kansas St and then to So. Carolina.  He spent last year at Okie St.  "One of the nation’s most respected recruiters"

There've been rumors about Nike for years. Nike-sponsored AAU coaches holding "coaching clinics" that D1 coaches are paying big bucks to attend.  Why would a D1 coach be willing to pay big bucks to go "learn" about coaching from an AAU guy?

But it's Adidas being investigated.  Makes sense.  Probably a hit called in by Phil "the dark" Knight.

If I was some non-power 5 conference school I would be worried because someone is going to have to pay for these indiscretions. Would really enjoy seeing some of the college basketball bluebloods (greenbacks) take a beating on this but pretty sure the NCAA will turn the other cheek.  They will limit off campus recruiting for an assistant coach or 2, make them take down a conference championship banner from 7 years ago and put them on probation for 72 hours.
