Did we spend anytime scouting this Yale team?  Yale has a 5.51 team ERA.  Their only pitchers with an ERA under 3.50, are the 1st baseman, who has a 2.79 ERA in 29 innings, and this guy who has a 3.47 ERA in 83 innings.  Otherwise their pitching sucks.  So, what do we do?  We swing at the first pitch, for an easy grounder to the shortstop.  Maybe, take some pitches, and get this guy out of the game.

This is least enjoyable baseball game I've ever watched . Looking at our bench they seen to agree . Must be planning their summer vacation beginning tomorrow.

Be plenty of time to hash it out waiting for flight home after watching holy freaking cross and Yale play more baseball.  Just a horrific job getting anyone that is any sort of threat to do anything.  Not good to have no power and no speed.  Recruit better athletes and teach them to play baseball better.

Yep. Holy hell are we far away. Some how Yale has found guys that square up a ball better than us.

It's not about the players.  Our players are better than Yale's players.  We tighten up every time we are playing for something.  We had to thank our lucky stars that Purdue beat Minnesota, otherwise we would have had loss out on the Big 10 championship pissing a game down our legs.

Respectfully disagree.  I don't think we have much offensive talent.  Have to string way too much together to score it seems like to me.  We have better staff than Yale but it doesn't look like we have a better offense and may not be particularly close.

We have talent, just an absolute atrocious approach to the plate.  Altavilla and Schreiber look like they have no honest to God clue how to have plate discipline.  Schreiber swings at 95% of 1st pitches.  (He swings and misses, rolls over a ground ball, or pops-up weakly)  Very seldom does he do damage on the first pitch.
