We are on the bubble.  I would say right side of the bubble, but I firmly believe we are on the bubble.

D1 baseball said they have 74 teams for 64 spots on their big board and good teams are gonna be left out. I also think were in for sure, but Indiana and Maryland are both in trouble. Too many stolen bids.

Also the committee went straight RPI for the hosts - take that for whats its worth.

We are in, we won the regular season. So we are an automatic qualifier.

Actually, the "automatic" qualifier is Iowa from the Big Ten. But, yeah, I'd say that Nebraska is going to be in the tourney. I certainly hope it's not at Arkansas, though.

Here's the final home run count for the Big Ten Tourney:

Iowa: 3 / 1 / 1 / 3 / 1 / 1 = 10 (1.67/gm)
Maryland: 3 / 0 / 1 / 3 / 1 = 8 (1.60/gm)
Minnesota: 1 / 3 / 1 / 0 / 1 = 6 (1.20/gm)

Northwestern: 2 / 1 / 1 / 1 / 0 = 5 (1.00/gm)
Indiana: 1 / 1 / 2 = 4 (1.33/gm)
Nebraska: 2 / 0 / 2 = 4 (1.33/gm)
Purdue: 0 / 2 = 2 (1.00/gm)
Michigan: 1 / 0 = 1 (0.50/gm)

Granted, teams with more games had more opportunities to hit home runs, but it's clear that the team's that went far into this tournament hit more home runs than those that didn't. Indiana's ballpark favored teams that rely on this type of scoring.

Just wait until next year, then those teams will have to manufacture those runs.

I think I heard or read that that sick Nebraska won the regular season that they were qualifiers. At least that's how most of the leagues work.

Unfortunately no guarantees for a regular season champ.

Projected by BA to have NU be in Baton Rouge.
