“I felt like he would’ve helped out our team, but at the same time, it’s OK,” said Jacobson, a 6-foot-9 forward. “If he wants to leave, if he doesn’t want to be here, we don’t want him here, by any means.

"I’m totally fine with him leaving, if he thinks that’s the best decision for him. Go ahead. See you later.”

That is why one should never try to talk too much, it will come back and bite you in the butt.

This story got real crappy, real quick.

Poop jokes aren't my favorite kind of humor, but they're a solid #2.

Well, the Cubs *are* the defending champions. Just saying.

Even a blind squirrel finds an occasional acorn.

Are you referring to Nebrasketball?!?

Afraid no acorns to be found there; was talking about the baby bears of course. One season does not a championship program make.

I'd like NU hoops to find an acorn. Pretty please.

Hey, I've got a couple of rather large black squirrels, definitely not blind, in my front yard.  May they could be hired by the program as guides to the acorn stash?

Perfect. NU needs to keep 'em on retainer!

There's plenty of them down here in Marysville.

Trivia question of the day: What basketball player from Marysville once started for the Huskers?

I believe that is where current Cub and ex-Husker Brian Duensing is from, but he is a baseball player.
